for

I tapped my foot on the floor, my arms crossed in front of me as I glanced at the clock for the fiftieth time.

I groaned as I saw that it was already midnight. Grabbing the plates and throwing them in the sink, i grabbed the food and put it in the fridge, trying not to cry. I glanced at my reflection on the mirror. I had worn my favorite dress, a dress Dally really liked for today.

"I can't believe he forgot!" I cried, my face in my hands,my makeup coming off. But I didn't care. Dallas wasn't here to see me anyway.

When I dated him, i knew stuff like this would happen. i knew he would stand me up, or break my heart, or something. But I wasn't ready for him to leave me alone today and completely forget our anniversary.

I huffed and went upstairs to change- I put on some sweatpants and a tank top, throwing my hair into a messy bun. I glanced at the mirror, seeing my makeup all over my face. but I could care less.

"I bet he's with another girl...I bet he forgot about me...I-I bet he-"

"It breaks my heart to hear you say that. Just a little," I turned around when I heard his voice.

"D-dally!" at first I was relieved and was about to hug him. Then I remembered and turned away, "So now you decided to show,"

Dally frowned and furrowed his eyebrows, "What do you mean? I was...busy," I sighed, "Whatever Dallas,"

He grabbed my arm and whipped me around, "Hey- what do you-wait have you been crying?"

I pushed him away, wiping the fresh tears running down my cheeks, "Forget it Dallas,"

Dally stood in front of me, "I'm not going to forget it- My girlfriend was muttering about me cheating on her and had been crying for a reason I don't know!"

I pushed him-hard, "Well maybe it's because your girlfriend is tired of being left alone in the night, wondering where the hell you are! Maybe your girlfriend is tired of being stood up for no reason! Maybe your girlfriend is mad because you forgot out anniversary!!"

Dally stared at me before saying, "Wait...I thought it was next week?" I glared at him and groaned, pushing past him, "I hate you,"

He caught up with me and tried to reason with me, "I can make it up to you tomorrow! Look there's a reason I was so late!" I sighed and turned around.

"You know what? You're lucky I love you," he smiled and grabbed my hand, leading me to the front door.

"Why are we here?" He smiled and pointed to a box on the ground. I frowned and slowly crouched down, and opened the box. i gasped and grinned.

Dally scratched his neck, "I hope you like it...I've kinda been working to be able to afford a-"

I squealed, "Dally I love it!" I wrapped my arms around his neck as he kissed my cheek and hugged me tight, "i knew you would,"

I picked up the little (fav doggo species/type) puppy and squealed again. I set him/her down and watched it run around the house.

"Am I forgiven?" Dally smiled as he watched me. I smirked and pulled him closer, "We'll see later tonight if I actually forgive you.."He smirked and picked me up, bridal style, whispering, "Why wait?I'm sure the dog isn't gonna watch," I laughed and held on to him as he carried me upstairs.

"I'll make sure you never forget this anniversary,"

(Sorry I added that doggie part but...I hope you like puppies!!)
