well as you can see in the Movies that the zombies are so aggressive and they can climb walls or fence and other zombies like have special skills like in L4D like Tank, Hunter, Witch, Smoker, Boomer well they have own stories why they became like that but the zombies in reality aren't like that the zombies are slow all they know eat walk destroy and they not running they just like walking faster when they following someone and they do not have they're own special abilities
well they're strong cause they can't control their own weight that they don't care even if they're carried like if a human is carried they put they're best to control they're own weight or they must light their body while carrying them that's why when you have a base you must strengthen your fence like metal fence, wood fence, walls, doors and everything you and the zombies are sensitive to their sorroundings or when they hear something gun shots they already know that its a human so they go to the noise and find where it came from and their sense of smell are strong too like when you're running from zombies and you're sweating but you lost them and hid but they can catch up by not running or sprinting by sleeping your sweat cause sweat is like the strongest scent that's why they can find you
