Chapter Nine

~ Justice ~

I wake up with me and Matt laying next to each other. I turn towards him and see his eyes are open.

He smiles at me and I smile back. Before carter grabs my hand and leads me out of the fort. Right when we get out he starts quietly snickering.

He lets go of my hand and looks at me still snickering.

"What's so funny?" I say in confusion.

He stops laughing to make sure he can talk and starts talking.

"You have to help me prepare breakfast" he say while walking towards the kitchen.

"Oh Gee thanks Carter, your the best brother ever" I respond my words dripping with sarcasm.

He chuckles, and instructs me to get in the kitchen.

"Wait hold on let me go get my phone...it's in the fort, and then I will help you" I say while curling the side of my mouth into a smirk.

He narrows his eyes, and I put my hands up defensively and turn around to go into the fort.

I see my phone right next to Taylor. I tiptoe over to him and try to get it, but he ends up rolling over top of it. He starts shuffling and finally turns over, probably from the uncomfort of my phone.

I grab it and hurry out of the fort trying not to wake them. I try to tiptoe up the stairs, but the doorbell caught me instead.

I run to go open it and see it's Mahogany. I open the door and let her in the close the door.

"Ayeeee, hold up how do you already have a outfit on, Carter, Matt and I literally just woke up?"

She scrunched her eyebrows and looks at me like I'm crazy.

"Girl!, it's two in the afternoon what time did you go to sleep at, well you and the boys" she says kind of shouting.

"Shh, your going to wake the boys, anyways we all went to bed at five partying, well not partying but making this thing and watching movies in it!" I say while pointing to the fort.

She laughs and takes my hand and leads me upstairs. Leads me to my room and picks out a pretty outfit.

It's a red plaid shirt with a grey hood, Blue jeans with brown laced up boots, and long socks to go over my ankles.

She puts it on my bed and hurries me to go take my shower. I get in and instantly feel like the stress has gone away. The way the hot beads of water touch my skin makes me relax instantly.

Even after a good twenty-five minutes in the shower I had to get out. I put on the outfit, and she leads to sit on the bed.

She puts my hair in a fish tail braid, and puts a white headband on my head.

She tops it off with a little bit of mascara, some eyeliner.

I look at myself and I actually feel like I mean something to this world. I smile and hug her while thanking her for everything.

I feel her smile in my cheek as she lets go of me. We walk downstairs and I immediately run to the kitchen.

"Carter is the food almost ready, I'm starving!" I whine.

"Food would be ready so much earlier, if you would of helped me!" he mocks me with my whining.

I smirk and hug him sorry. He takes the apology and points to the food meaning dig in.

"You don't have to tell me twice" I mutter while grabbing a plate and digging in.

Mahogany and I stuff the last piece of bacon In our mouths and head out towards the mall.

We make it there and Mahogany decides she wants to go to FOREVER 21 first. We walk there and buy a couple of things before heading out to Vans.

We arrive at vans and Mahogany immediately scrambles over to look at some shoes. I giggle and look around to. I glance at stuff before glancing at what it looks to be Matt's jacket.

That's not Matt's jacket is it? That's not possible I just saw in the fort and now all of a sudden he's here??

I peek around to see if it is, and sure enough Matt is standing their making out with the girl against the wall.

My heart stops for a second and my eyes start to get filled of tears. I see the girl open her eyes and look at me wide eyes but also smirking that smirk that she always has.

That's the waitress at the diner, the other day! What's she doing here, Maybe that's why he was making googling eyes at her..

He pulls back and frowns at her.

"What, what do you see" he says taking a glance at what she was looking at which was me.

I quickly hide and realize he didn't see me. I sigh a breath of relief and take another look and see them making out right back again.

That's where I just fell apart and started running to Mahogany car. I put my bags in the back and just sit in the passenger seat with my head in my hands crying.

I should stop crying I'm not wasting my time on that back stabbing liar. If he wants to play that way, two can play at this game!
