In a quiet seaside town a 30 year old mother stood cradling her baby called Alexis in her arms, the girl had bright green eyes and cream skin, she had a cute roman nose and she had pitch black ruler straight hair. The baby was only 4 months old and was proving to be an extremely difficult baby to handle...
She could make things happen that other children in her playgroup could not.
Now you are probably thinking that she could draw well or she was good at sport,
but she could actually make odd things happen to people she didn't like. For example, just last week she had made a boy fall face down in a puddle when he had smacked her. All she did was flick her wrist!
Mean while, another baby called Jaya was born she looked exactly like the first baby but just a week younger, she also had a cute roman nose and cream coloured skin but the only thing that was different was her eyes, she had bright hazel eyes not green, she also had dead straight straw blonde hair.
She too could make strange things happen.
She was sitting on the table and suddenly a huge gust of wind came flooding through the open window... the small blonde haired baby fell over the side of the table! But instead of landing heavily on the dark hard wood floors she merely bounced back up to the table!
Funnily enough, this did not come as a surprise to the twins parents Henry and Aida Winterlock.
For they were in fact also different... they were a family of witches and wizards.
