*Nikki's P.O.V.*

Amanda's new loft-thing  was crowded with people, and I was surprised at how expensive looking the place was, almost everything either glass or shiny white; not a speck of dirt or dust. Lena looked over at me, as if thinking the same thing, and rose her eyebrows and mouthed, "Wow" and I nodded in response, raising my own eyebrows.

"Wow." Of course, Louis was the one to say it out loud, loud enough for even Amanda to hear ahead of us. She turned around and smiled, making all of us stop walking at once. She clasped her hands together, her green eyes lighting up.

"Do you like it? I've been cleaning all week just to get it like this! Lena, come on, I want to go introduce you to some people! You guys can make yourselves at home. There's food in the dining hall and if you need anything come find me, I'll be happy to help." With that, she took her daughter's hand and yanked Lena off, not giving anyone a chance to answer the question she started off with. Louis looked over at me, his eyes wide in surprise. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Well, I'm going to get something to drink. Do you two want anything?" My father asked, and I looked over at him, smiling.

"No thanks, dad."

"No s- I mean Daniel. I'm good, thank you." Louis said stiffly and I wondered what was holding him back from his usual self. My father nodded and ruffled my hair once before walking off. I fixed my hair and watched after him until he disappeared into the crowd of strangers. I then turned to Louis, who was standing there, his eyes glued on something in the large crowd in the spacious loft living room in front of us. I followed his gaze and my eyes settled on the black haired, pale skinned, skinny girl who stood beside her mother, whom looked exactly like her, smiling and laughing at something the man in front of her said. Amanda laughed with her and I smiled at the two of them. I was glad that Lena was getting along with her mother, but a pang hit my chest at the thought of Harry never forgiving his mother. What she did was wrong, everything she did when they were little, but she's a different person now. But, it's up to Harry if he wants to accept that or not.

I looked over at Louis and saw he wasn't smiling, not a muscle in his face moving, so I put my hand on his arm and asked, " What's wrong?" He looked over at me and shrugged, his inked arms crossing over his black band tee shirt.

"Nothing." I rolled my eyes and removed my hand, turning to look at Lena so we wouldn't look weird, arguing in the middle of a party and on top of that no one except Amanda knows us here.

"You're lying, Louis. Is it Lena? Did you two have another fight or something?" I asked and out of the corner of my eye I saw him look over at me with narrowed eyes, but I kept my gaze out at the living room in front of me.

"No, it's not Lena. It's you actually. How can you just take Harry back after everything he did, Nikki?" My head snapped over to look over at him and I stared at him with rounded eyes.

"What are you talking about? Who are you to say who I can and can't be with?" I asked in dis belief, staring at him, my arms crossed over my chest suddenly. They always seem to end up like that when I'm angry or arguing with someone. Usually it's Harry that I'm arguing with and this happens.

"I'm not telling you that you can't be with Harry, Nikki. I'm just pointing out that he basically cheated on you right in front of you, fucking some other girl right in front of you, and you just take him back after he gives you a small, cheesy apology? I didn't  think you were that low, Nikki." I gasped and my mouth hung open like that for a minute before I uncrossed my arms, turning away from him.
