Spring's P.O.V
I walked the halls with my backpack clutched securely onto me as I was on my way to my locker to grab my things for English. Upon arriving there, I grabbed my things and headed to the opposite wing of the huge campus. The students littered the halls as they engaged in conversation with their peers as I did the exact opposite. The atmosphere of the room was quiet as everyone finished the test that we had studied for since last week. I heard the bell ring as I got up and headed for the rest that the day had to hold.
I walked to the bus stop slowly.
Boys stood at the bus stop as they fumbled a basketball. I ignored their presence and sat down on the bench beginning to do my homework before I felt a shadow cover the sunlight that touched my chocolate skin. I pushed my glasses up the bridge of my nose and looked up at a boy with curly hair that was pushed back with a snapback.Don't be awkward....
"Hey, how are you?" I heard a voice speak out.
I stared for a good second before speaking, "I'm good. You?"
"I'm well, thanks for asking. What's your name?"
"Spring. Spring Evermore." I said trying to keep myself from stuttering.
"Beautiful. M' Harry." He smiled as he said this and looked at me from head to toe before his gaze paused on my hands. His face scrutinized suddenly as I hurried and packed up my stuff.
"I should...... go." I hoisted my backpack and ran from the bus stop.
I sighed as I walked home with my head down.
High school just gets harder and harder...
