She runs to the roof, embracing the cool breeze and wearing the moonlight on her face while hot tears stream down her cheeks. Her black leather suit feels even more lighter than before as she stares into the star covered sky.

It's 2:45 a.m.

She hears a shut of the door behind her and even though she could easily jump off and use her grappling hook to safety make it to the bottom and escape, she stayed for she couldn't move. From fear? No. From having to re-experience her tragic, unfair childhood. Maybe.

"Cat? Hey.. are you okay?" His voice was soft and full of worry.

He makes his way around her, gently placing his hand on her waist, and searching her baby blue eyes. She stares back at his green ones as if her life depended on it.

"You knew..?" She whispers.

"If I knew, you know I would have told you."

He brings his free hand to her face and carefully wipes a fallen tear from her cheek. Neither of them says anything. She has a loss of words, and he doesn't know what to say.

"Cat," a voice submerges from behind her once more. "Is everything okay?"

She turns around, surprising sharply, and walks towards him as a lump gets stuck in her throat. His facial features we so familiar to her fathers, she could barely look at him.

"You're supposed to be dead. You DIED, Richard!" She cries, now only a foot away.

"Who told you I died?" His voice was full of confusion. She told him that her adoptive mother told her the false truth.

Selina Kyle.

"Why the hell would she tell you that?" He asks with his voice suddenly stern.

"I-I don't know... but she said you were shot and died."

"I was shot, but that was a long time ago." He says now noticing Beast Boy awkwardly listening behind her.

"I know. It was a year after-."

"Yeah. It was." He looks back at her, and swallows away the pain in his voice.

She then embraces him, for she couldn't find the strength to hold it back any longer. He returns the warmth, rests his chin on top of her head, and suspiciously raises a brow at Beast Boy. Uncomfortable, he gives a nervous thumbs up and smiles. Knowing the circumstances, Richard releases Cat and makes his way over to the green changling.

"Heh, hey Robin! What's u-."

"Don't you ever even think about hurting her, Garfield." Richards overprotective father side comes out, causing Beast Boy to have chills.

"Wouldn't even dream of it." He assures Richard and looks over to the blushing Cat, and gives her his famous smirk.

"Now that all of this lovey dovey shit is done, what the hell is going on!?" Cyborgs loud voice makes Cat jump and causes Richard to roll his uncovered eyes.

Starfire and Raven stay behind Cyborg, looking just as curious.

"Alright then. Cat, meet the Teen Titans. Titans, meet my sister."

Cat Grayson.
