CHAPTER 20: Sisters Bond

Having been saved from an attack by the two sins Greed and Envy, she now confronts her little sister. Will this battle end in tears of joy or despair, two sisters forced to fight each other. The outcome will not be beautiful nor will it be horrifying, the outcome will be liberating. Now a fight that will change the future will commence.

Having landed a hit on Lisa when she was distracted by Greed and Envy the sin of wrath has the advantage. Lisa was buried in a wall after Lane attacked her “I got distracted, damn!”. She tried to free herself but a wall of black water prevented her from moving even a muscle. Lane’s black water was the most dangerous of all the black elemental reaps. Reaps given to them by their mother, their origin unknown to even them, the users. Lane’s black water will tear anyone apart, just touching it with your finger would destroy your entire arm. They were born with these powers but it was originally the reaps of their mother. She was born with five black elemental reaps. Three passed on to her children and one she gave to Isaac, the other one was stolen. The person that stole it also killed their mother. It is said that their mother was a part of the black clan; a clan that no longer exists. Their mother was the only one to survive

“Lane stop, we came here to save you, now why do you fight against us”. Lane finally arrived at Lisa location using her black water to lift herself up to her sister so she could look her in the eye. “I fight against you because I have to” Lisa looks at her sister unconvinced that that is the reason. “Liar! Tell me the truth, what does Hugo have against you, is he controlling you somehow”. Lane’s eyes start to tear up “no I just have to fight you sis”. Lisa shouts at Lane demanding an answer and the truth wanting to understand why her dear sister would go against them. The black water that was blocking Lisa’s way disappeared suddenly and she didn’t hesitate to escape. “Leave big sis please” Lisa grabs Lane shaking her still demanding an answer to the question she asked. Lane slaps her hands off, Lisa gasps . She slaps her sister on the cheek. “Lane, tell me why you would fight against your own family” she bursts into tears and falls into Lisa’s chest crying. “If I fight you and defeat you he will spare you. He’s strong, stronger then Isaac, please escape while you can”.

Lisa pats her head and kisses her forehead “Isaac knows that, but still he came to save you and avenge big brother”. Lane looks up at Lisa who was crying, but she was also smiling. But why? “Why are you smiling when your crying” Lisa giggles and wipes the tears off her little sister face. “Because you’re still a big dummy” Lane tears up again but this time she also had a smile on her face. “I missed you all so much and I miss big brother Vance” both of them burst into tears, falling on their knees. As they start to calm down they feel a huge amount of black force energy emanating from two beings. “That’s coming from where big brother Isaac is, we have to go hel-“. Before she could continue she saw that they were right at the place Isaac was fighting Hugo. “Way ahead of you little sis”. Lisa looked around to see if anyone else was around but she saw no one. Isaac and Hugo were building up energy for finishing blows. Both Lisa and Lane felt that Isaac had no chance in surviving that attack, but they were too late to doing anything about it.

All they could do was watch as their brother was about to be killed right in front of them. Hugo and Isaac both charged at each other their fists gripped tightly both ready to end this battle. As their fists connected both Lisa and Lane shouted out to Isaac telling him to escape. But he didn’t hear their warning. They shouted out once more trying to reach their dear brother but it was all too late. Hugo’s attack overwhelmed Isaac’s and all force was pushed onto him the last thing he heard before being engulfed was the voices of his sisters. “Lane I’m sorry guess I wasn’t strong enough to save you and avenge big brother Vance”. Lane and Lisa could hear the agonizing screams of their dear brother. Their pain filled pleas for help could be heard from afar. But their comrades still recovering from their own battles could do nothing but listen. They run over to Isaac whose body was covered by a cloud of smoke. “Wake up Isaac please wake up” they pleaded for him to open his eyes but it was all in vain. Isaac Demonio was dead “ISAAC!!!!!”
