LXXI. Change of Events

[RJ's Pov]

Reloading my gun in cover, I slapped my medium sized clip back into the cartridge and clicked back the weapon itself. I peeked out from the tires of the car I was taking cover behind and popped up just to shoot these fools dead. Francis popped up too and we lit their asses up on the sidewalk.

Just as their bodies fell to the wet solid ground, sirens were heard approaching the scene. I looked at France and he looked at me, both making the decision to book it the other way towards our car. Sadly, we caught up with some more of the Italian mafia and they started shooting at us on sight.

Running with my head down, I safely got back over to my car and both me and Francis got in. I slammed my keys into the ignition and started the whip in a flash, still ducking my head from the incoming fire behind us. Bullets punctured my windows but I was able to speed away.

I dropped Francis off at his house and gave him his pay for rollin' with me on that side job. It was quite risky to steal from the Italian mafia but shit, I got the job done. Look who I'm the son of...

Upon walking into the house, Aanyah walked up to me and pulled me right back outside. "Yo--what's wrong?"

"I need to talk to you" she simply said, pulling my arm all the way back over to the cars in our driveway.

Once we got up to the cars, I leaned up against my dad's Ferrari and folded my arms across my chest. She came up to me and looked off to the side, feeling uneasy about something.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm pregnant RJ and...I haven't even finished school yet"

My mouth dropped from the news. I was so shocked that Aanyah would even allow that shit to happen. My sister was smarter than that but damn...

"First of all, he's not just some random nigga. Second of all, we were in the moment okay. That's what happens when you....make love to someone you still care about on the low. "Hold up......Reese? Reese as in my friend Reese?!" I widened my eyes.

"Shhh! Yes...., you know we used to have a thing Roy..."

"Aanyah, he has a girlfriend. What the fuck are y'all doing still sleeping around with each other?"

"Psst" she rolled her eyes. "That nigga loves me far more than he loves that bitch, that's number one. I don't mean to be a homewrecker but he calls me and wants to take me out and shit. We started talking after he fucked up with his girl and yeah--we did it a couple times. He was single and I was too but he knocked me up. I'm 3 or 2 months along. (Melanie's Pov)

Walking into the sports bar where the girl told me he was going to be at tonight, I searched the crowd looking for him with a broken heart. A girl called me just hours ago to tell me that she and this other girl just had threesome with my boyfriend a couple days ago. When she found he had a girlfriend, she felt bad and decided to tell me the heartbreaking truth about Carlos. Explaining how he was seeing multiple women at the same time and is even hiding a baby under the radar. A fucking baby!

Once I saw his bitch-ass sitting at the bar with another girl on his arm, I swear I felt like I wanted to kill this nigga with my bare hands. I charged up to the crowd of him and his boys and overheard a conversation.

"Man, it was good actually. Bout time she let a nigga hit, I was about to drop her if she wasn't. Now I can drop her after I got that good pussy--"

"Drop who, Carlos?" I questioned, seeing his eyes widen once he realized it was me.

"Um.....Babe--I..."

I swung with all my might and knocked him down into a glass center piece that just so happened to be on the bar. He fell all the way down to the floor and grabbed his bleeding head and face as blood started to run down from his forehead.

"Didn't think I would knock you the fuck out though right!? Right in front of ya boys because you don't fuck with my heart" I slapped my chest.

Out of anger, I stomped on his chest and was immediately held back from attacking him further. Tears came down my face in an instant from the pain I myself was feeling. I felt so stupid..., so used....

"If I ever see you again--! I will fucking leak you again! We're done..."
