Finally it was the time for Levi to get off work.Happily,he cleared off all his files from the table and just when he was ready to go,his phone started buzzing.The caller id showed that it was Petra.Levi noticed that Petra went back home a while ago.He picked up the phone wondering if anything happened to her.
P:"L-Levi san",she spoke in a panicked tone.
L:"What's wrong Petra?"
P:"I-i don't know what to do.I went home and then I knocked my neighbours house but he didn't reply at all...I'm so worried"
L:Levi for a minute couldn't comprehend why Petra knocked the door of her neighbour.But he decided to ignore that for now and ask her "Are you sure that they are home?"
P:"Yes I am sure."
L:"Why are you so worried about your neighbour in the first place?"
P:"Eren is like a brother to me,how can I not worry?!" she screamed into the phone with a voice that sounded like she was about to cry.
L:"Alright,I'm on my way."
After saying that he cut the call.He sighed,thinking that his plan to go to the cafe had to be cancelled today.He put his suitcase in his car and drove to Petra's house.
When Levi reached there,he could see Petra standing in front of his neighbours door and shouting "Eren!Eren,pls open up!".Levi went up to her."How long have you been doing this?" he asked."For around 15 minutes",she answered.This time Levi tried,but a little harder and louder,"Oi open up you little brat!"...no answer. Petra continued saying that Eren normally texts her when he is home and today she didn't receive anything. She was worried whether something happened to him.Levi thought about what he could do in this situation and he could only think of one thing."I'm breaking through " he said."W-what,you can't do th-" but Levi already started kicking the door. He has strong muscles,so after a few kicks,the door flew open.He walked inside and grunted to find the place in such a mess."I can see that this brat doesn't clean up".Petra replied that that's not true because she had been here once before and it was very clean.Both of them walked further into the apartment but there was no sign of Eren.They saw his dining area,kitchen and now finally went into the bedroom.There was no one here too."Eren...was he perhaps kidnapped?!",Petra said.Levi told her not to jump to conclusions when he noticed that the bathroom light was switched on."That little brat,he is inside the washroom!".Levi opened the door rashly because he was angry that the brat hasn't even replied but he froze after looking at the sight in front of him.A boy in his teens,with brunette hair...he looked like the same brat who appeared in his dreams and visions.He laid there on the cold floor,collapsed. "That can't be" he muttered to himself. Petra noticed Levi standing there for a few minutes and came closer to take a look and she screamed,"Eren!!!".That made Levi snap out of his thoughts and he told Petra to stay out while he went and picked up the boy in his strong arms."So Eren is his name" he thought to himself.The brat looked beautiful up close,was what Levi thought.He walked out of the bathroom with Eren in his arms,and towel wrapped around him because he was naked.
Levi felt his arms heat up,the heat coming from Eren's body."This brat has gotten himself sick.Go get me some medicine Petra".Petra obliged and left Eren in Levi's care as she walked out of the apartment to buy some medicine.Now only Levi and Eren were in the apartment.Levi took his time,admiring the features of Eren while he lay unconscious.He could feel his heart ache again."Why do I get this same feeling as in my dream now?!This boy can't possibly be the same one in my dream,that dream,from the looks of it would have many years ago...that brat couldn't be alive today".As Levi was immersed in his thoughts,Eren slowly opened his eyes and looked up at the man sitting on his bedside.The same raven hair with an undercut,short build with strong muscles which he had seen in his dreams.Eren couldn't take his eyes away from him.He kept staring.Thats when his greenish blue eyes met Levi's steel grey eyes. Both of them were staring at each other mesmerised,not bothering to even blink as they continued staring at each other for more than a minute.Eren was the first one to break the silence,"You're the one who came in my dreams." As soon as he said this,Levi couldn't believe that Eren also had the same dream as him.As each of them were thinking about that,their heads started hurting at the same time.Both of them started grunting in pain as they had a flashback about the dream again...

Flashback:
Levi heichou was riding his black horse in front of his squad,heading towards the giant forest which was there destination. Right now his squad were still in the plains,riding quickly and swiftly,moving forward in a steady pace.Since they didn't want the ride to be boring,his subordinates indulged themselves in idle chatter,which Levi chose to ignore so that he could give them some space.He could hear Eren laughing and bantering and he wondered how someone could laugh in the situation which they were in.He had Petra and Hanji too in his squad,who were chatting with Eren happily without a care in the world.Suddenly,they saw a black smoke signal...this signified that an abnormal titan was coming closely. As Levi was issuing orders to his squad,multiple black signals rose up towards the dark sky,which looked like rain could be pouring down any minute...Eren,Petra,Hanji and Moblit were all alert now,scanning everywhere for a titan to pop up.Levi was busy devising a plan to get out of this tricky situation.In front of them,3 15 metre titans sprang up from nowhere,heading towards them in a fast pace,and to the right,three 8 metre class titans also came their way.Just when the squad thought that they had enough on their hands to deal with,another titan,a 5 metre class came towards them from the left.There were only 5 people in Levi's squad and all of these titans were abnormals.Levi ordered his squad to be alert at all times and not to make any moved which they thought was risky.He quickly went forward alone,with a goal to destroy and kill as many titans as possible so that his crew wouldn't be burdened.He could hear Eren shouting in the background telling him not to go in alone but he didn't listen.He was not going to loose anyone...not today.Eren and the others rode in the different directions that the titans were coming from.Eren rode in the direction of his captain,his only desire to protect him from any harm.In front of them a couple of miles away was the forest.If they could just get there,they would be able to protect themselves...Eren thought.But right now in the open plains,they were in a big disadvantage.Eren rode forward quickly only to see his heichou cutting down one titan after the other.He looked like he was doing it with ease but Eren noticed that he was using more gas than usual,probably he was tensed about this situation too.Worrying about Levi,Eren didn't notice the titan that was running towards him from the left.He was alerted by Petra's voice at the last minute,managing to jump off his horse to the side. But he lost his horse in the process.This caught Levi's attention and he seemed to mentally scold Eren for being so absent minded during a dangerous situation.Eren had to fend for himself by running around and cutting the titan whenever he had a chance.Eren was still contemplating whether he can turn into titan or not because when he had tried it before he couldn't. He decided to save that for later and continued to distract the titan,buying himself some time until someone killed it since he couldnt land a perfect hit on it.He was still a novice after all.Eren was still distracted by Levi,so he turned to look at him and saw that his heichou was in a big pinch,he had lost his balance and almost fell down when the titan grabbed him.It was 15 metre class titan.Eren's heart lurched in his chest and without thinking he sprung forward,managing to reach Levi in time just when the titan was about to drop him in his mouth.Levi was surprised by the sudden change as both of them fell a few feet away from the titan.Levi got up and looked at Eren who was hurt from the quick move he made,bleeding from his arms."You didn't have to do that" Levi said to him."If I didn't you would have died heichou!"Eren said,protesting back at Levi."Fine,get you ass up now and move!" he screamed just as the titan was about to pick them up again.They used the ground for their support and continued to get away from the titan at moment,when suddenly Levi realised that his gas was getting over."Shit" he muttered to himself,but this didn't go unnoticed by Eren.He turned behind to see the titan catching up with them and Levi was moving slowly because of low gas.Eren thought that they could manage but he was wrong. The titan suddenly stopped and aimed his leg,right at Levi,hoping to kick him and kill him.Eren noticed this beforehand and rushed to Levi's side,protecting him from the kick by pushing him to the side and receiving the kick himself...
As this happened;everything seemed to go in slow motion for Levi.He could see Eren smiling at him;his eyes secretly telling him that he loves him before he was kicked harshly by the titan,and he landed a mile away.Levi was horrified. His heart beat quickly in his chest as his mind refused to think postively."No one could have survived that...his bones would have been broken in so many places".Levi was overwhelmed with sadness,despair and anger at the same time and he first decided to kill this titan which hurt Eren. With as furious cry,Levi landed on its neck and sliced it with all the malice he had in his body.The titan fell down,dead.In the background,he could hear frantic cries from Petra,Hanji and Moblit,screaming Eren's name as they ran towards him.Levi could feel himself tearing up,he used the last of his gas to get there quickly.When he went there,the rest of them were already there,crying with hopeless expressions on their faces.When Levi went closer and looked at Eren lying down there,he felt like killing himself.Eren was surrounded by blood,his body in a very bad shape.His head was bleeding badly and he was loosing a lot of blood.Levi brought Hanji to the side and asked her to explain the situation Eren was in.His voice was coarse...he wanted to cry.Hanji shool her head sadly saying that there was nothing they could do.Eren was hurt in too many places badly and there was no equipment to treat him here.It would take too long for them to go back to the walls and she was afraid he wouldn't last that long.Levi's heart sank.He went back to Eren's side,leaning down and looking at his once bright and cheerful figure now suffering with pain and agony...
"Levi heichou,don't look at me like that" he croaked.
"Eren...his voice wouldn't come out...why?!Why did u have to protect me and care about me all the time"
"Heichou,that's a stupid question...he coughed slightly.Thats because I love you"
After this Eren had a coughing fit
"E-Eren!? Eren!"
"Ugh I'm alright he-heichou,so please don't cry"
Levi didn't realise he started crying until he could feel the tears flow down his cheeks.
"Eren please don't leave me...you can't leave me"
"Heichou..."
"Ere-"
Levi was cut off by Eren kissing him...a passionate kiss.Then he whispered into his ears,"Heichou,no matter where you are,I will find you.Lets reincarnate and meet in another life.I promise you..." and with that he fell back on Levi's lap.
Levi was overcome with grief and was so shocked.He just couldn't bring himself to accept that reality.
"EREN...EREN...NOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Everyone stood there mourning over Eren's dead as Levi was crying his lungs out...he couldn't bother about anyone seeing him in this pathetic state.All he knew now was that he lost the one he loved the most in his life because of his careless mistake.
(End of flashback)
After the flashback was over,both of them looked at each other in surprise and horror...not able to believe what was happening at the moment.
"Levi heichou..."
"Eren..."
