Chap 6

Jamie's pov

"I'm in love" I said to Trevor as we were waking by the lake "no doubt, I'm in love" Trevor looked at me funny "dude, are you okay,

She's a freshman you're a senior. It's not gonna be a pretty ending." he said and all i did was roll my eyes at him and didn't answer so he continued "an anyways I thought we said we wouldn't fall in love until after we went on a world tour together and we wanted to live in Timbuktu.u And now you fall for a freshman. Dude you're just gonna love her then leave her? Its not fair to you and Its certainly not fair to Beth. Now I'm not against it, I'm jut warning you Jamie, what you gonna do?" he finished and sat down on the beach by the path. "Trevor, I didn't Go searching for love, it found me and it made me happier then I've ever been before. Dude, I'll still travel the world with you you're my best friend and have been since we were five and will until we die... And she would understand that! It's just Beth, I mean she's just so... Beautiful, inside and out and she's so full of life and doesn't take anything seriously she's always joking around, and her eyes, they're the prettiest shade of blue, they just make me melt when I look into them. Even when you saw her at orientation you said she was really pretty! But you don't know her like l do. If you did you would know that, She's amazing..." I said looking at my friend. He seemed to be trying to read me and figure out if I was kidding "you're really serious about this girl aren't you? Well like i said I'm certainly not against the fact but i dont know what you're gonna do when graduation comes. Have you even told her that you love her yet" Trevor said my face fell. I didn't think about graduation and shook my head "no. I don't tell her" I said quietly "Well that would prrrobably be a good idea. Oh. And I want to properly meet this Beth. If this is the girl my best friend wants to spend the rest of his life with then I at least have to meet her!" he finished. I laughed my mood brightening slightly "okay Trevor, she's coming over tomorrow with her friends you can meet her then." I told my best friend as he changed the subject when we got up and started walking again.

And on the walk the rest of the way home all I could think about is graduation and how it's going to screw up my whole life.
