It's not everyday you get to live this moment.Spending the whole day with my mother and father and no sight of drama.I've been praying to God for this dream of mine to come true....and it did.Ain't God good ya'll?! I looked at the time on my watch.10:48 p.m.Trust me,we were all worn out.Seeing the underwater creatures to riding on daring rides to eating at traditional resturants.Can you say best day of my life?! I honestly think that they are doing this because my birthday is in 3 more days.To be honest I don't care,as long as they together and i'm happy.That sounded kind of selfish.I looked at the driver seat and seen my dad focusing on the road.I looked over to the passenger seat and noticed my mother sleeping.She slightly snore and I smiled to myself.I want it to be like this everyday.Unfortunately they are divorced and this is an act.Chapter 11 of my life.Sucks right? We soon pull up to my mother's house.I watched as my dad unbuckle his seatbelt and my mother's seatbelt then got out the car.I unbuckle mines and grabbed my stuffed dolphin.I got out the car to see my dad carrying my mom bridal style inside the house.I followed inside and went upstairs to my room.I placed my stuffed dolphin ontop of my dresser.
"Perfect." I quietly said to myself with a slight smile."I love you." I turned around and looked at my dad leaning on the doorway.I poked out my bottom lip and whined."Do you have to go daddy?" I asked walking towards him.He sighed and hugged me tight."I promise I would be back tomorrow darling." He looked down at me and I looked up at him teary eyed.He kissed my forehead and I let out a few sobs.He picked me up and layed me on my bed,tucking me in."Goodnight." I whispered slowly closing my eyes."Night." he croaked.He walked out the door and closed it behind him.I sighed and drift off to sleep.
*3:40 a.m*
I quickly opened my eyes as I heard noise in my room.I quickly sat up on my bed and looked around,trying to focus in the dark.I turned on my lamp and screamed.The boy quickly covered my mouth."Shhhh." he said as I muffled 'mom'."If I let go,promise to not scream." He looked at me with worried eyes.I stared at him and sighed in defeat.He removed his hand and sighed in relief.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I semi-whispered.He looked at me then looked down."Chresanto and its a long story." He sat down on my bed and played with his fingers."Well little boy make it short." I snapped,crossing my arms.He looked at me and rolled his eyes.He began to say something then hesitated."What?" I asked."Say something!"
"Shhh! I-I ran away." He looked down at the ground.My face began to relax a little."Why?"
"Because.......I was being abused."
He showed me his arms and back.I gasp in shock.The bruises were really noticable (sp).He started crying and felt really sorry for him,but why was he here?
"Sorry about that.Why are you here?" I asked.He looked at me rubbing his eyes.
"I was wondering if I could st-" I paused him in mid-sentence."You can't stay here! My mom would freak out!" I yelled,quickly standing up.
"SHHHH! ....Please you can hide me." He stood up."Im 11 years old! I can't babysit you!" I yelled pacing back and forth in my room.Rubbing my head in fustration."Please! I have no where else to go and I need to know if someone atleast care about me! Just for a few days please!" He got on his knees and started begging.I can't let him stay here.I JUST CANT! Can I?
Annnnd Cut! There will be a part two but it depends on YOUR ANSWER.Will you let him stay there for a few days?
