Chapter eleven

I walked away from him with a heavy eye. Though, he acted all nice in the party and now, he try to use me to do his assignment. I hate him, I really do. As the bell rang, I was about going to math class when I stumbled over a hard surface and fell.

Ouch! that really hurts. Why wasn't I even looking? I quickly tried to get up but I fell back to the floor. Oh no, don't tell me I broke my leg all because I came here to see kelvin.

Speaking of Kelvin, he passes by seeing me on the floor in pain and doesn't even give a shit about me. He acted like nothing happened.

I tried so hard to stand up again. This time, I was fully up, trying to walk but I fell back down. No, I fell on something that's totally not the ground. It was kelvins arms. He stared at me with a pitiful eye and just wrapped his hands around me and lifted me up.

"am sorry for trying to use you to do my assignment, I was just being too lazy and stupid."

I parted my lips to say something but I shut it back at lost of words. His hands felt so good, I could probably just stay there all my life. And as he carried me passed the bunch of students, I kept on hearing people mumble.

Finally, we got to meet the schools doctor. Immediately she saw me in kelvins hands, she directed us over to a bed were he dropped me slowly.

She examined my legs.
"You have a dislocation and you could either do it slowly or just go through the easy but painful way which would require some one relocating it back and then you only feel the pain for some time." she says.

I thought about what she said for a while and parted my lips to give an answer.

"I would rather go through the easy but painful process."

"are you sure about that?" Kelvin asks with a worried look.

"yes."

"OK, is that your boyfriend?"

That question kept Kelvin and I in an awkward situation. He ran his hand over his hair and just smiled.

"I only asked because you need to hold someone."

"then I would hold her." he stated.

He stood up and... Should I say that he gave me a hug? He just wrapped his body right on mine.

"everything is gonna be okay love."

He called me love, I can't believe that he just called me love. Am gonna go crazy right now. I think I have a garden in my stomach because I feel butterflies every were. Even his body that he wrapped around me makes me want to drool. I felt really good.

All these thoughts went through my mind and I didn't even know that the relocation was over.

"are you Okey?" he asks running his hand through my hair.

"yes."

"So, should I take you home?"

"no need for that, I can call the driver."

"you don't have to disturb the poor driver when I already volunteered. Am taking you home anyway, just stick to it."

He lifted me off the bed and carried me until we got to his car. He opened the car, and put me in slowly, then drove off to my house with the direction I gave.

Few minutes passed and I found myself staring at my house. I came down by my self this time. He knocked and my mum had to answer the door. She wore a surprised face. Or did she start caring for me? That's so not possible. She was staring at Kelvin.

"Kelvin, what are you doing here?" she asks. How the hell did she know him?

"Linda got injured so I decided to bring her over here." joining his eyebrows in confusion.

"oh my manners, please come in." she widened the door.

"Ma, please how did you know me?"

"don't call me ma, you can call me mum." I felt Kelvin buried in confusion while my eyes keeps on getting wider.

"your parents and I are business partners. We have been working together for years now. And I had seen you before but I bet you don't remember." She narrated. Oh, that explains it all.

"OK, I have to go. Please take care of her or if you want, I could carry her to my house." he joked.

"no problem. You can have her."mum replied leaving Kelvin in shock.

"Meg, please pack enough clothes and items for Kendra to be staying at kelvins place" mum says to Nanny Meg as she hurried to my room to grab my items.

In no time, my things were down stairs. Kelvin couldn't say a word because of how his joke turned into something else. He just quietly grabbed my bag and head to the car, while I sat speechless.

"what are you doing here? Follow him." mum orders.

I stood up and went over to his car. After a long ride of silence filling the atmosphere, we finally got to his mansion.

"who lives here?"

"who else?"

The house was so big, I could have even mistaken it for a castle. He grabbed my things and led me into the house.

"so were are your parents?"

"they live in our other house abroad. Now, it's going to be both of us." he smirks.

He carried my luggage and led me to my room that felt like a bunch of princesses lived in.

"get ready and come down for dinner." he says and walks out.

After a while of wondering and exploring in his mansion, I went to have dinner.

"You look hot, and you keep hiding it with those baggy cloths you wear." I kept shut. "if you keep on getting this hot everyday, I bet someone would soon give me a child." he says as he drops the food on the table.

Why did Nanny Meg give me this kind of gown which kind of exposes my body. I couldn't find any better thing, so I wore it.

Wow! He could cook. He even did the dishes after we finished eating. Am totally in love with this guy. I was about walking up to my room, when he lifted me up to my room. Bridal style. He kept me on the bed and lean over me supporting himself with his hand so not to put his weight on me.

He looked at me with those pretty eyes and then kissed my sweet spot, between my shoulder and my neck. He looked back at me without saying a word and was about kissing my lips when I turned my face.

"you did the same thing to me before." he says.

"when?"

"so you don't remember? Well, let's just leave it at, 'I know your little secret." he draws an evil smirk on his face.
