#4: go to the cliff and stargaze.

since you didn't know where you wanted to go, i decided to take you to a cliff. it may seem scary, but it felt romantic for me.
speaking of romantic, now that we're together, all alone, is this... a date?
maybe you wouldn't consider it as such. but deep inside me, i want to consider it as one. "what if we fall?" you asked.
as much as i want to say that there's no we, because looking at the two of us, i'm the only one who fell. "stop dwelling in what if's, just live for the moment." seriously, i just said that? i'm literally a walking detriment of what if's, and not just that, now i'm a hypocrite. "right," you said, looking at the sky with the light of the moon shining upon your face. you smiled to yourself, making my heart beat faster.
it was cold out, mid-december. the city lit up and looked busy. i never felt more alive with this beautiful scenery in front of me, and a beautiful girl beside me....
i gazed at your childish profile fondly. "a shooting star! did you see that?" you gasped. "no," i said blankly. i was too busy looking at you, perhaps that's why i missed it. "did you wish for anything?"
"of course i did, but that's a secret," you winked. "if i tell you, it might not come true."
you don't see....
you don't see all the things i would do just to make your wishes come true.
you shrugged and gazed back at the dark sky decorated with tiny stars that twinkled on us. we talked about life then. we had a few good laughs, a few awkward moments and a few petty fights. a while later, you tucked yourself against my shoulder, complaining about the chilly weather. can i have this as an excuse to hold you close?
and so i did, hopefully making you feel that i would be there for you, always.
sometimes, i wonder, if one of the stars above had lost its way, and had come to settle, gracefully, on my shoulder.
