Chapter 1 - Awaken

Okay now I just need to fix the brake pads on the car. But thing, is the pads are fine could it be? Maybe it's the rotor, yea that's it. But how much time do I have left? I'll go ask someone. Wait who's shouting? Zephyr slowly got out of his thoughts.

"Alright everyone time to clean up the classroom, there's 10 minutes left." The teacher exclaimed.

Well at least now I don't have to check the clock now. I should probably start packing the stuff I used, but I'm almost done. I could ask the teacher to stay after school..., yeah I'll do that.

"Hey teach," Zephyr called. The teacher had looked his way.

"I don't even have to let you talk, I already know what you are going ask. I'm sorry but you can't long today. I have business after school. But you shouldn't worry too much you are way too ahead on you project. Just take a break once you get home alright?" The teacher was worried about Zephyr.

Well since that was a bust, guess I have clean up. As he walked into the school garage, he finally noticed all the mess he made.

Dear lord, did I really use all those gloves? As he was walking towards the gloves, he didn't notice the toolbox on the ground, and slammed his foot into it. Ouch! I really should pay more attention to this mess. This is gonna take me a long while. After 15 minutes later, his friend calls out for him

"Yooo, Airhead are you going to stay after school?" Aaron loudly barged into the classroom, just as lots of students were exiting.

Well now I know he's here, but does he really have to be that noisy? After years of knowing him, he's still just as loud.

"No I can't this time, the teacher is busy." Zephyr stood up and walked toward Aaron.

"And I'm guessing you still have much more to clean up, considering how much you get into fixing cars" Aaron slowly walked towards the door.

"Not this time, I had help. Also, don't leave just yet, I need 5 more minutes" Zephyr just started at him as he waited at the door.

"You still got the sandwiches from lunch?" Aaron asked as he walked back and started looking into Zephyr's bag. "Don't worry I'll find it myself." After 8 more minutes Zephyr had finished cleaning all the tools, oil, and gloves he had left.

"You know what Zephyr? I will never get use to the smell of that classroom. It's too... what's the word I'm looking for? Oh yea oily" Aaron and Zephyr walked out of the classroom, with Aaron walking backwards in front of Zephyr.

"Yeah, you get use to it. You know, if you were really hungry we could have stopped somewhere." Zephyr sped to open the school doors.

"I don't have much money left, that's why I took your food. I spent it getting this watch." Aaron stopped at the crosswalk and pulled down his sleeve to show said watch. The watch was a Casio 'tough solar' quartz resin casual.

"Okay how much did you get that for? And isn't that the 3rd this month?" Zephyr spoke as if Aaron had an addiction.

"Hey! I got those other two from my bro as a gift, alright. I got this one cuz it was on a sale it for like $36." Aaron glared at Zephyr and tensed up. Within twelve minutes both have arrived at a plaza. Said plaza was filled with different food. Bakeries, and other general stores. After nine minutes of bickering and walking around they both decided on what store to go to. They stopped by a convenience store which they previously visited a good amount of times. As they walking in Aaron went to the soft drinks while Zephyr went to get the snacks.

"Hey Aaron, can you grab me a can too?" Zephyr started looking at the chips.

"Which one?" Aaron grabbed a Dr.Pepper and looked at Zephyr.
