"Bitch wha?"
Emma looks at me with the widest of eyes, her mouth open in awe.I roll my eyes but inside, I feel just as giddy as her.
"Yes," I say. "We kissed." It feels weird rolling off my tongue but the memory brings a delicate smile to my face.
"Awww, she's blushing!!" Emma exclaims, her eyes buzzing with excitement.
At first My mind doesn't register her words, then, it clicks and my eyes narrow.
Quickly but swiftly, I grab her by the waist and she let's out a high shriek before I push her off the bed softly and let her roll to the floor.I have to suppress my laughter when she sits up and blows a piece of hair away from her red face. Her eyes zero in on me and I can't help it anymore and burst out laughing.
"You little..!" She bellows.
After that, she proceeds in chasing me all around my apartment while screaming, may all the poka dot mixed with stripe wearers arrive at your door!
She really is the fashion police.

Therapy again. Again. What in the fricking world is against me?!
I'm being forced to see Nathan right after we.. We... You know, our lips touched and moved around.
I let out a deflated sigh, I guess there's no point in arguing with myself if I'm going to end up going anyway.
So I take a quick shower, slip on my outfit and head to my car.
Once I've arrived there, I glance around and my palms feel clammy as I walk on the sidewalk made to enter the building.
"Hey care bear." A deep voice whispers in my ear, his breath brushing my neck, making me shiver.
I almost jump out of my skin as I face his striking green eyes. His hair is slightly messy making him look even hotter.
"Nathan." I breathe.
He chuckles lowly, making me narrow my eyes at him before he stops.
"So.." He bumps my shoulder with his lightly. I raise my brow and he grins slightly.
"About last night.."
He smirks at my shocked expression. But me being me, decides to play him at his own game
I raise my brow and feign innocence. "What about last night?"
The tip of his ears turn pink and he looks to the floor. "You know..." When he doesn't meet my eyes, a triumphant smirk finds its way on my lips.
Just when we're about to enter the room, in a quick, swift move I feel his soft lips touch my cheek. I see his twinkling green eyes for a second just before he swings the door open and enters.
My cheeks feel warm, so I try not to let my mind replay that tiny gesture over and over again. But of course it doesn't work and it's all I can think about.
I find a seat a few chairs away from Nathan, my flaming cheeks need a little space right now.
Today John is wearing a black button up with rolled up sleeves and dark blue jeans. You know, he wouldn't be a bad match for someone in their late thirties. John clasps his hands together and begins. "Hey everyone, lets get right to the point. Today we will be telling our stories in full blast. We'll be sharing them openly, without leaving anything out. Facing our demons full on. And we won't be afraid. I hope everyone knows it's okay to cry, to scream, to hug, to be reassured, to let it out. It's all the process of healing, and that's what we're here to do. " he finishes.
Face our demons full on? A new determination fills me even though I hate sharing my past openly. I can do this. I find Nathan's eyes which I can't read. He seems tense and I instantly feel like something's wrong. My brows furrow in worry. He can do this, I know he can.
John smiles at the group. "But, we have to play a game first."
I inwardly groan, seriously, hasn't he already asked us to do enough?
We all wait for him to explain. "The game is super simple, I'm sure you've all heard of it before. Hot potato!"
My brow arches and my first thought it da fuq? Why in the world would we play hot potato, in all the games there are, did he only find this one? I scan everyone's faces and they're all as confused as me.
"Here's the catch!" Of course. " instead of a potato, we use eggs!" John pulls out an egg crate and sets it on the floor.
And if this could get any weirder, he starts to sing hot potato, and some of the others join him as they pass an egg around.
The song ends and lands on a boy who's name I don't know. I can tell he seems nervous so I try to smile when he looks my way.
He tells us his story, though I couldn't hear him most of the time and his voice kept trembling.
We play another round. But just as the song's about to end, I hear a loud screeching of a chair. I look up to realize Nathan has gotten up abruptly. We lock eyes for a second before he quickly looks away. I furrow my brows, What happened?
"I...I have to go, I'm not feeling too well." He explains quickly. His shoulders are too tense and he won't meet anyone's eyes.
The whole room is silent as he walks away in a flash, and before I know it he's gone, out of the room. I want to follow him. I want to talk to him, comfort him. Do whatever I can. But right now, I doubt I can help. Sometimes you just need a little air and space to think and figure things out.
I look at John to see his worried expression. We lock eyes for a second and he gives me a dry smile. For the first time, he seems old, tired, someone who's been through hell and back. But that's gone in a flash as he sends a small smile to the group.
"Everyone, we'll do this a different day since Nathan is gone. We all should be here to learn from each others mistakes and know that someone is here for us. So for today, we'll do more of what we did last session."
After that, everything goes by in a daze and I find myself at home. My mind never once wavered from Nathan. It's bothering me to know he's out there, probably holed up all alone, beating himself up. A sigh leaves my mouth. I want so desperately to give him a great hug and tell him I'm here for him no matter what.
I shake my head in attempt to get rid of my thoughts. Time to watch some Gilmore girls. With that in mind I find my way to my couch and turn on the t.v. And try for a relaxing day.

Sooo, how was that?
What do you think is up with Nathan?
Also, if you're still reading, I made a few changes in the earlier chapters. Just minor dialogue changes and a bit personality tweaking. The only thing you need to know is that Nathan always says cheesy pickup lines.
So remember to
