Love which became his breath

Days passed and our last year ended just 13 days before our engangment. After the exam we both directly went to BHU Vishwanath Temple to spend some quality time together as next day Nandita was going back to Allahabad and then we will be able to meet only on our engangment day.
" I am going home tomorrow." She said with the cocktail of emotions.
" Hmm...Are you happy?"
"Both, because I going from my one hometown to another hometown. So neither too happy nor too sad." She smiled a bit this time.
I saw her admiringly and said
"You are soo sweet Nandita ...I will miss you alot." And kissed her hand.
" I will miss you too my patidev." She laughed.
" So patni jii ( wife ) ...Let's now go to temple."
"Yes..."
I holded her hand in my hand and we went towards the temple and we worshiped together, asking blessings for our future married life together.
After spending almost an hour together in the garden of VT we clicked some pictures together actually I should say in these many days we clicked our first photo together and when we realised that we laughed hard together. As people nowadays are actually mad about pictures and selfies and gets the one as soon in their first date only. But we never went on any place where we called that as a date. We either called it shopping or simply a break from our hectic schedule.
So after that picture may be I can say we went on our first date just before 13 days of our engangment.
After that I droped Nandita to her hostel
" Take care and have a safe journey."
" Rehan, don't worry I will take care of myself and you take care of yourself and also of mummy and Papa."
"Ok" . I smiled when she called my Mom and Dad as her own and thought how girls so easily adapt in other family in which she doesn't know anyone ...It's too difficult but they show like it's too easy for them, how that cute child in them suddenly became a mature lady. These changes can be seen only in an Indian girl.
She gave me a hug and we departed.
Next morning she came to my house. I don't know whether se came to seek blessings from my parents or to seek love from me anyways I was happy to see her. She touched Mom and Dad feet and mom kissed her forehead in love and blessed her. After that mom handed over a box of sweet to her for her family...I thought I should also address her mom and dad as mummy and Papa but it was not that easy for me as it was for Nandita. After that she said " Bye" to me and said " Now I think I should leave, taxi is waiting."
All my hopes that she had came to see me and my love, went in vain and I understood she had came for parents blessings and that day for the first time I saw her bahu avtaar.
I was quiet happy about that we all accompanied to her till her taxi and said bye. I hope mom and dad would not have accompanied us so that I would have atleast given her a hug but it was not possible so I silently touched her hand and squeezed it taking it in my hand and she smiled without seeing me and squeezed my hand in response.
She sat in the taxi and went away from me for 12 days. And I watched her taxi till it tooked the turn for the main road.
We all came back in our house and my mother started praising her...Actually it was continuous list that even made me boared. At last I went in my room and called Nandita
" I am boared yaar...Why are you so good?" I said softly.
" Aaaaayeeee....What happen?" She asked confused.
" Mom...She is continuously praising you since you left from here."
She laughed " So you are jealous."
" No not jealous but boared."
She laughed agajn.
" Let me come to your house I will steal your mom from you and then she will love me more than you."
"I am dying for that one day." I changed my tone and tried to tease her.
She laughed.
" So where are you?"
"I think half an hour more then I will be at home."
"Okk...Bye then."
"Bye."
