"I wrote a long letter to the moon one day; it isn't brighter than you but I lit a small candle."
Nights were getting more and more cold. Jimin had to bring his yellow blanket with him, at the top of the abandonned wagon. He never got tired of the blue sky: the full moon was brighter than usual and dyed all the neighboring houses' discolored walls of an intense, dark blue. When he couldn't fall asleep he always asked for peace to the stars, but this time he asked also to help him in a new good lyrics.
Suddenly a calico cat jumped next to him, trying to insinuate under the blanket. As soon as Jimin petted it, it started to purr.
"How cute you are...""I knew you were here." said a deep husky voice behind him, making the cat run away.
"You just scared my new friend." replied Jimin resentful, but Jungkook didn't seem to be interested."Why are you sitting outta here?" asked the tall one while approaching.
"I couldn't sleep."When Jungkook took place next to him, he noticed some random words written on the notebook on Jimin's crossed legs. Something like "angel, universe, providence, happiness" or similar stuff.
"What are you doing?" asked curious, but Jimin quickly hid his notebook, impeding Jungkook to read more."Nothing special. The sky just... inspired me." He was afraid Jungkook might found it ridiculous.
"Shake those stars from your hair, pretty Moonchild!" chanted Jungkook smirking. "It's time to dance with the noonday sun!"
Jimin laughed sweetly at him. He didn't expected a reaction like that. "And where does it come from?"
"I read it somewhere."One night, Jungkook planned to sleep at Jimin's house, obviously without telling a word to his parents. Jimin said something weird and cute, just like then, and Jungkook couldn't help but laugh, feeling like at home. That was the first time they stopped jokingly flirting. They were laying in bed, looking straight in the eyes. In that moment, they knew their feelings were growing much more intense and overwhelming, it was stronger than a simple childish love. And now, the only presence of Jimin next to him, was driving Jungkook crazy. Even his blood, sweat and tears, his body mind and soul, knew well that it was all his.
It took a while before Jungkook recovered from his nostalgic but beautiful memories. "Anyway, you should go back to bed." managed to say winking at Jimin. "With me."
"What if I say no?" dared the other boy.
Jungkook stroked his hair sensually. "Ahh, don't play with me. I can be very persuasive." They were now dangerously close.
"I'm not gonna lose." said Jimin with a soft voice.
"Ahaha, are you sure you want to play this game again?" Jungkook was this close to kiss him. "Aren't we too grow up?""Maybe. But this time, you will lose."
Suddenly Jimin jumped on Jungkook's lap, with his legs at each side of him. The other was completely surprised because he thought he was gonna take the initiative first, but that side of his partner was very exciting. "Where is the innocent boy?"
"Here, just in front of you." answered Jimin a few inch from Jungkook's lips; he wanted to tease him more before granting him a kiss.
Jimin felt two strong hands grabbing his ass cheeks, dragging his hot body closer. When their bulging manhood rubbed against each other, Jimin's breath became heavy, Jungkook could clearly feel it against his face. He was so pleased to see him losing control.
"What happened, little Moonchild?" chuckled.Jimin couldn't resist to his overflowing desire anymore: he grabbed Jungkook's neck and kissed him deeply. Maybe he would never win at that game.
Jungkook returned the passionate kiss, sliding his toungue in the other mouth, pulling his hips closer and closer, like he wanted to interwawe their souls. He realized how much he missed this touch, feeling him like this.
Jimin was shivering in pleasure, just his touch on the covered skin send electricity in his veins. Plus, that was the first "serious" kiss after a long time. He didn't want to stop, but he needed air and so pulled apart.
"I missed you so much." said Jungkook looking at his beautiful red face.
"...I hate y-"
"I love you."
He... what? Jimin's eyes splitted apart:
he couldn't belive to what he just heard."Don't look at me like that. It's just... it's been a while since I wanted to tell you." added Jungkook scratching the back of his neck.
They didn't say "I love you" to each other before. It looked so obvious that only three simple words seemed to be useless. But hearing it directly was stunning and strange at the same time. Jimin had a knot in his throat that was leaving him speechless. He was shocked that people like Jungkook really exist, who was the definition of every single thing that he has ever been searching for, whose beautiful soul could leave you completely in awe for him. People who he only read about in books. But it was more shocking that a person like him just said Jimin was special for him. He was so lucky to have him. Jungkook made him happy in a way no one else can.
"Ehm... you don't have to answer me 'I love you too'. I didnt't say it to hear it back, I said it to make sure you knew. Okay? So please-"
"I love you. I definetly love you."
Exclaimed Jimin in a deep tone. He had been always sure that in his life there would only be Jungkook. "I was just... surprised."
"Really?" Jungkook caressed his perfect jawline with his thumb, throwing his hair strands orange like late October away. "You really do?" He seemed to be a little bit touched. Maybe Jimin never saw him so vulnerable before.
"I could start fire with how much love I feel for you."
Jungkook found heaven in Jimin's eyes, and he could swear he saw also the next sixty years of his life.
