The screams of students from another classroom echoed through the halls, you prepare for what's behind the door. Your hand goes towards the door and wrap around the handle, opening the door, small children run out of the room along with a teacher. Walking into the room, your [E/C] scans the room laying eyes on the misgevrious ghost Pokémon laughing in the middle of the room. Crossing your arms, you glare at your Pokémon.
"Really Misdrevus? You can't keep doing this!" Placing a hand on your forehead, you pull out the Pokéball for your rebel ghost Pokémon.
"Return..."
the bright red light touches the Pokémon and sucks it into the small sphere.
"Thank you [Y/N], it just came out of no where!"
Smiling towards the teacher, you raise your hands in the air waving them embarrassed.
"You're welcome Mrs. Williams, I should've kept a close eye on Misdrevus. Ummm, you can continue with your lesson. Sorry kids!"
Walking out of the classroom, kids rush into the room to continue with their lesson at the Trainer school in the Alola region on Melemele island. Your own lesson was interrupted when you heard your Misdrevus's sobs from outside the room, you were in the middle of doing a fun activity of observing your fellow classmates Pokémon.
"Yeah... Maybe I lucked out on this," sighing you continue through the halls of the school. Getting to the stairs, a small bark is heard from up above. Looking up a smile forms on your face by seeing your loyal partner Pokémon Growlithe.
"Hey Growlithe, does the teacher need me?" Gaining another bark from the small fire type, you walk up the stairs standing next to it, bending down you rub it behinds it's ear.
"Alright, lets go."

Walking through the door of the classroom, everyone was up and about touching and petting other students Pokémon. The teacher happily talking with other students until her eyes lay on you, she excuses herself from the other students walking towards you happily.
"[Y/N], I need to speak with you. It's about your graduation."
Freezing up, you stare at her in utter shock.
"Me? Graduating? Are you being serious?!" Excitement filling you up, you can't help but bounce up and down on your heels.
Watching Mrs. Chase shake her head, she smiled towards you.
"I'm being serious, it's about time you graduate and go on your trails. Though the principal believes that this test should be tomorrow, as soon as the bell rings. How does that sound?" Nodding happily, your chest filling up with excitement.
"Sounds good to me!"

When the bell rings, you and Growlithe leave to go home. Your chest swelling up with both happiness and excitement, "I can't wait! We get to finally go and travel the islands! And the trails! This is going to be amazing, right Growlithe?"
Your faithful companion simply barks happily up at you, the pathway gets a bit more narrow as the woods becomes more of a opening. Your house soon emerged from the light, a small house but it is suited for your likings.
Walking inside, you place your bag on the table and quickly go towards to fridge wanting to get yourself some food that you had made last night. Pulling out the cold food, you place it into a microwave and heat it up, leaning on the counter, a soft sob is heard from behind you. Groaning you turn to look at your ghost Pokémon, it's crimsons eyes staring into your own.
"Really? You can't stay in your Pokéball for a few minutes? You have to go out and roam and scare kids?" Hearing a laughter from the ghost Pokémon, Misdrevus floats around the room humming to itself.
"I take that as a no..." sighing softly, the beeping from the microwave causes you to turn around and take your food and began to eat. Your eyes scan around the room seeing Growlithe laying in its dog bed chewing on a toy you had gotten it at the market, Misdrevus making faces at itself in the mirror while laughing. As much as it doesn't like to listen to you and say in the Pokéball, it is quite humorous.
Two knocks were soon heard on your front door, placing your dish in the sink you walk towards the door opening it revealing two people.
"Hau! Lillie! What's up?" Letting your two friends into your small house, Hau's partner Litten follows him from behind.
"Heard about your graduation tomorrow! That's going to be amazing! We can finally compete!"
"Hau, graduating doesn't mean she will automatically want to be your rival. Right [Y/N]?"
Laughing softly at their two counteracting personalities, you shake your head at them.
"Well, not sure what the test will be just yet. Not even sure how you even got wind of what's going on. Your already graduated Hau!"
Watching the dark tan boy shrug he grins at you.
"You hear a lot of things from the kids in Iki town, but it was super easy for me!"
Rolling your eyes, you cross your arms.
"Then I have nothing to worry about if you had no problems,"
"Hey!"
"What? You know it's funny."
Hau crosses his arms, his lips twitching trying not to laugh, Lillie looks towards the two fire type Pokémon playing in the corner of the room.
"So what are you going to do with your free time?"
Grabbing your bag from the table, you motion them to follow.
"I'm going to train! Wanna help me Hau?!"
"Oh yeah! Let's do this!"

Running towards a long meadow area, Growlithe and Misdrevus follows while Litten follows Hau. Standing on opposite sides of the small patch, Lillie stands in the middle away from the both of you.
"Ok, we will do this until one Pokémon can't battle anymore."

"Litten! Let's go!"

"Growlithe, show them how it's done!"

Both Pokémon jump out into a battle position ready to battle it out.

"Little use scratch!"

"Growlithe, quick use bite!"

Both Pokémon run into each other Litten's claws dig into Growlithe's fur, while Growlithe's teeth sink into the black fire type cat. Both dealing damage.

The battle was far from over, Growlithe runs back waiting for its command.

"Use ember!"

Litten flares up and spits out a fire ball.

"Growlithe counter it with a ember and use quick attack!"

Growlithe's mouth opens as fire shoots out, once the fire connect your fire Pokémon runs through the smoke as fast as lightning and hits Litten multiple times before the cat jumps into the air and scratches your Pokémon.

"Now Use pursuit!"

"Growlithe use bite!"

Before Growlithe had any chance to move Litten hits your partner, causing it to help out in pain. Watching your Growlithe get up it runs towards Litten and used bite, smoke is formed and both parties are completely exhausted.

"Let's... end this. Don't want to hurt Growlithe too much, and I don't feel like walking into town again."
Hau sighs softly a bit disappointed, before he puts his arms behind his neck.
"Ok, but you'll probably need a bit more training. Especially your Misdrevus, since it doesn't really listen."
Turning your head you look towards your ghost Pokémon humming happily to itself.
"Yeah... Probably would help."

The next morning, you are prepared and ready for today's challenge and graduating this school to do what you want to do.
Stopping at the front gate of the school you stare up at the tall building.
"Ready?"
Hearing Growlithe bark's, looking down it's blue eyes narrowed and ready to take one anything.
