Rita part 2

It's already 7.50pm while we reached my home.

"It was awesome. I'm so happy!" She said giving me a big smile.

"Yeah obviously!" I rolled my eyes while putting the bags beside my bed.

"Hey, don't be mean!" She made puppy face.

"Okay!" I surrendered my hands.

"I'm hungry." She put her hands over her stomach.

"Me too. Thank God that we bought foods." I said.

"Yeeaaah. So we don't have to wait." She almost jumped in happiness.

"Yup. Go freshen up and I'll put those in the oven." I said.

"No! You go freshen up. I'm gonna download a movie. Then everything." She said.

"Okay, okay" I left for the kitchen.

"Hey, Lily. Which movie do you want to watch?" She shouted.

"Um, I don't know. Whatever you like." I replied while putting the foods in the oven.

"How about some animation movie?"

"Okay!" I replied.

We finished the whole movie while having our dinner.

"Awwww! How much I love being a child!" She said.

I didn't look at her but the TV nor replied.

"I miss those days while I couldn't understand anything didn't have any worries!" She giggled.

"I wish I could have understand everything." I said looking at the floor.

"Huh? What does that mean?" She's confused.

"Nothing." I replied changing the channels.

"Hey, Lily. Do you remember how much you loved those princess movies? The concept of love, having the person with whom you can share your entire life and anything! And how they got married and lived happily ever after! And obviously their babies!     Remember, you used to say you wanna have a lots of babies because you love them a lot, they're so innocent! Remember?" She looked at with a lot curiosity.

"Not everyone is touched by their innocence you know?" I looked at her. She looked confused.

She was about to ask something. Without letting her the opportunity I said "Well I do remember that you kissed a frog for it will turn into a PRINCE CHARMING!" l said the last part in a playful voice.

"Yeah, yeah right!" She growled

I laughed out loud.

"Huh. Never mind.! But hey you remember about sleeping beauty? It was one of your favourite? How she woke up and all and you wished for it?" She again gave me a curious look.

I looked at her leaving a deep breath and then to the floor."Well, it's still my favourite. I wish if I could wake up in a morning and someone telling me it was all a dream, a bad dream, a nightmare ! And everything is like BOOM! and gone!"

"Nightmare? What are you talking about?" Her eyes went wide.

"Nothing" I looked back at the T.V.

She looked at me for a while and said "Don't you think it would have been wonderful if you could go back to the time be those little children again!"

"NO!" I screamed so loud turning to her which almost made her jump back and my eyes went wide. I closed my eyes took a deep breath and started watching the T.V.

I can feel her still starting at me. I can see that from the angle of my eyes. She looked at floor took a deep breath.

"Look Lily. I know you're hiding something from me and I don't know what it is! And I don't what that guy you first dated or may be I say the only guy you dated."
"I didn't date him!" I cut off.

" Whatever ! What was his name Rick or Dk said what to you that you got so hurt that you cried for a whole week, changed your college and not to mention CHANGED YOURSELF COMPLETELY!" she almost shouted the last part.

I can see the anger so clearly in her eyes. It's like a volcano which can get started at any moment.

"It wasn't about him. I told you that." I said in a very calm voice.

"Yeah but what the hell it is that the only thing I don't know about you and keeps hurting you more and more everyday." She is so upset.

"There's nothing that you need to know." I said changing the channels.

"Maybe I don't need to but I badly want to." She said.

I turned off the T.V. and looked at her. She looks so disappointed.
No. I can't do that. I can't let her know. It will break her into pieces. And I don't want that sympathy in her eyes for me. I'll have to be strong.

"Rita, dear..." I cut off by her.

"I still remember those days Lily when you used to say how much you wish for making your own family, having a husband who will love you so much and having babies who will complete your world!" She said. I can see the sadness in her eyes and tears forming.

Hearing what she just said felt like some red hot coal entering my ears, felt like someone just snatched my heart from my body and cutted it into trillions of pieces with some very sharp kinfe or something! I can feel the tears forming my eyes waiting for the permission to fall. NO!

I closed my eyes and turned to the other side. I can't let the tears fall. I took a deep breath in and out and said "listen Rita. Having your own family, a loving husband and your own children is a blessing. And not everyone is worthy of that much blessings." I said trying not to cry and keeping my voice okay enough.

"But why? Why don't you even date someone! What is that thing! Not every guy is the same! It hurts me to see you sleeping around any random guy to punish your own self! I mean why even this punishment!" She started crying.

"Okay! Enough of me dose for today huh. There's nothing. I'm okay. Believe me. I'm happy how...." I cut off by her.

"Don't you dare saying that you're happy. Being successful, having money isn't what happiness mean!"

"Okay,okay,okay. Fine. But I'm okay. I'm okay with everything. Just don't worry about me. I'm fine. I've learnt to live with it." I said looking to her eyes.

I wiped off her tears. I'm really glad that I have a friend like her who cares for me more than I do.

"Now tell me about you. You said you have something to tell me. And most importantly you have a boyfriend who loves you lot and willing to marry why you're not getting married?" I furrowed.

"Well , we are going to." She smiled.

"What? When? Now you tell me! " I growled.

"Relax, relax. He proposed me for the second time yesterday night and I finally said YES!" She almost shouted the last part.

"Oh, girl! I'm so happy for you!" I gave her a bear hug. I'm really so happy for her. At least if not me someone will live my dream.

"So tell me. When it is?" I asked

"Well. Most probably on the next month. He said that he wants me to meet someone special." She said.

"Oh, okay. Who she is?"

" I don't even know if it is a he or she!"

"Huh? Okay!"

We spent rest of the night by talking.
It was almost morning when we went to sleep.
