"Come on Leianah you can do better than this." Lori said throwing the sword on my side. She too strong. I'm only a beginner.
I see some warriors laughing at me as I fell on the ground once more. I picked up my sword and continued fighting Lori. Nang maka advance ako sobrang bilis nyang gumalaw at nakailag sya at nahampas nya ng napakalas ang likod ko. My body fell at hindi na ako makagalaw sa sobrang sakit. Lumapit naman ang mga guards and they picked me up saka hiniga sa damuhan.
Nakahiga ako at pinagmamasdan ang ibang warrior na nag te-training. They are all so good. Maybe... just maybe this is not for me. My tears fell at the thought of it. Mother and Father are good fighters habang ang kaisa isa nilang anak sobrang lamya and so clumsy.
Kaya ko ng tumayo. Naglakad na kami papunta ng bridge nang hinarangan ako ni Lori.
"You're going to be good as them just train harder" tumango ako sa sinabi nya.
I'm close so close of giving up.
The bridge opened and it immediately travel back to Polar. As I'm walking hindi ko maiwasang maluha. Ayokong marinig nila akong humikbi kaya naman tumakbo na ako papunta ng palasyo. Dumiretso ako sa kwarto ko at humiga. Medyo masakit pa rin ang katawan ko dahil sa paghampas sa likod ko pero naiintindihan ko din naman.
Hindi ako matuto kung hindi ko mararanasang mahirapan. I won't learn from my mistakes.
Nakatulog na lang ako at nagising. Bumaba ako sa hagdanan at hinanap ang aking mga magulang.
"Where are they?"Napaisip ako. Lumabas ako at tinignan kung nasa labas ang mga tao namin pero wala. I walked through the bridges of realms still nothing.
I saw a glowing light coming from earth. I saw a shadow of a man walking past the glowing light.
I woke up in the middle of the night. My heart was beating so fast. I went to down on the stairs to go drink some water. All our nurses were sleeping except for the guards.
Naisipan kong lumabas at pumunta sa bridge just to see. As soon as I reach the bridge to the different realms i face the earth it's normal no light glowing and such.
I came back to my room and I could not sleep. I took my notebook and wrote my dream.
Nang umaga na bumaba ako sa dining room para makapagbreakfast. I have training today.
"So how was your training?" Father asked.
"It was fine. I still need to learn a lot"
"Don't be shy to ask some help from your father okay?" Napaisip ako sa sinabi nya. Marami akong gustong malaman, maraming katanungan sa isip ko na gustong malaman.
"Was it hard for you when you were training for the first time?" He nodded. Of course Leianah everything's hard at first. What a stupid question.
"Of course my dear. Sooner or later you'll master every skills, you'll be a good fighter just don't give up" I'm close to giving up already.
Huminga ako ng malamim at kumain na lamang. Back when I was 10 years old I admire every warriors, their skills, their talents, their speed and everything. Little me was so excited to go on and train but then now I know that it's hard. Well, expectations vs. reality. But I will still do my best to be a good fighter and a good daughter at the same time.
"Have you been to earth Father?" Napatigil sya sa pagkain
"Well, yes... I don't want you to go near that realm. It's full of bad people, there are lots and lots of crimes you might get hurt" pagaalalang sabi nya.
"But I won't get hurt if I know how to defend myself" sabi ko "But there are nice people there right?" I asked
"Of course, every realm has nice people it will just take time for you to earn your trust, sometimes nice people are just nice they'll pretend until they'll stab you in the back"
"Alright father"
"But that's where I learned to speak the language that is forbidden here" I laughed.
"Oh father, mother would kill us if she ever hear us speaking that "forbidden language'"
Nang matapos ako kumain dumiretso na ako sa Hiloh nang makapagsimula na sa training.
I took a sword and fight, but still I'm not good enough. Lori was looking at me intently as I train which made me anxious and shy.
Nakailag ako sa pagtama ng sword nya sakin and I was happy about that, but then pinatid nya ako at napahiga ako sa grass. She was about to drag the sword onto the metal guard on my chest when I rolled to the grass para makailag. I kicked her knees which made her fall down.
"Alright that's enough for now. Leianah I need to speak to you" tinapon ko ang sword sa grass at naglakad patungo sa gubat na pinupuntahan nya.
She then took out her sword at pointed it at me. "Fight me" I don't know what to say, I'm speechless, i'm scared, I'm dying inside.
"U...uhmm" yan lang ang nasabi ko sa kanya. She took my hand and placed the sword on my hand. Kumuha naman sya ng isang sword at saka umabante para makipaglaban at napaatras naman ako sa ginawa nya.
Tumapak sya sa branch ng tree hanggang sa tumalon sa ibabaw ko at sa sobrang bili ng pangyayari nasipa nya ang likudan na tuhod ko kaya napaluhod ako.
"Come on don't you dare give up on me" She said and I advance to fight her. I was able to manage her speed but she really is that strong and good when it comes to this.
We train and train and train until I was able to manage every details and every angle to where she'll hit me with a sword. I was so proud of myself.
And for the first time in my life that I was able to put her down on the grass. She then stood up smiling. I couldn't help but hug her and smile, she hug me back.
"I'm so proud of you Leianah"
"Thank you"
"Tomorrow come here early I'm gonna show you something."
"Okay"
I then went back to the palace to tell my father the good news. He was surprised and happy at the same time. I told my mother the same thing and she was proud of me.
Later that day... I went to Blair's palace to tell him the good news.
"He's not here might as well look for him on the woods" the guard said.
I went to the woods, it's dark and scary. Good thing I brought with me the sword and hid it on my cape. I could hear the sound of different animals. I can hear my footsteps cause of the silence. Nakakita naman ako ng anino at biglang nawala. I took out my sword para maging handa sa susunod na mangyayari.
May sumigaw sa likod ko at nakipaglaban sakin. Nakaekis ang sword namin and I was leaning to a tree. It was Blair.
"Oh God you scared me" he laughed. I pushed him with all my might.
"So... Lori told me you're good already" I nodded "yes you are"
"Why are you here?"
"Just wandering" tinaasan ko sya ng kilay. "Come on let's go back to the palace" I nodded at naglakad na kami papunta sa kanilang palasyo.
"Princess Leianah i didn't know you're coming"
"I was going to visit Blair I'm sorry I wasn-"
"Oh no it's fine dear, he missed you" I smiled and Blair led me to the library.
"So, have you heard the story of snow white?" I asked at umiling sya.
"I think it's an earth story. Why'd you ask?" Sabi nya habang umuupo sa rocking chair in front of a huge book shelves.
"My nurse keeps on telling me that I look like Snow white."
He laughed.
"You're prettier than Snow White." Napangiti ako sa sinabi nya habang ginagala ang mga mata ko sa mga libro.
I couldn't find a decent one, the books are only histories, and maps etc.
His nurse came and brought some milk with her.
"Thank you" Blair said.
He's wearing a prince clothes if you know what I mean.
Nagkwentuhan lang kami at nang dumilim na nagpaalam na ako na babalik na ako sa aming palasyo.
Nang makabalik ako we had dinner and I was about to sleep, this day was so tiring and so exciting. I learned a lot this day.
My nurse Kilah entered my room.
"Good night darling"
"Good night Kilah"
I close my eyes as she close the door.
