Austin pov
I opened the door for Choel as we enter the cafe together. I keep grinning remembering our simple quarrel at the stairs. I pulled her chair and pushed it for her as she took her seat. I sat across her and flipped the menu on the table.
"What would you like?" I asked her softly.
She took her time picking her lunch. She doesn't realize I looked at her the entire time.
"Chicken chop and pepsi please." After a while she answer me.
I place our oder and I continue admiring her. She have green eyes and shoulder lenght hair. Her bang keep poking her like the other day and she ingoring it.
"Why you always dress in green?" I'm wondering.
"Its my favorite colour."
"I thought your favorite colour is red.. Or black."
"Why?" She asked.
"Red for blood and black for darkness."
"Green for nature then." She argue.
I chuckled. "For a nature lover, you are far from it."
"I said I like green not I'm a nature lover."
"Why do you like green?" I settled the tensed and cleared the heavy air.
"Kenzy like it." She said in a low voice almost unheard.
Kenzy..? Who is this guy? She said his name the other day. During her panic attack. She begging him not to leave.
I control my emotion and force a smile. "Who's kenzy?"
I saw a wide smile plaster on her face. Her eyes light up and I can see the joyful in every part of her body.
"He's my most important person. My savior." Her voice rise and she looks very happy.
Saviour..?? Its mean person who saves someone or something especially a country or cause from danger, and who is regarded with the veneration of a religious figure.
"Did he save you?" I counting on my luck to inquire more.
"He did."
"From what?"
"From hell."
Her eyes dimmed out replace by the raging anger. She grasping her fist and her stared turned darker. I took her fist and caress her palm. She looks back at me with a sad smile.
My hands leaves hers when our oder arive.
I cutted her dished and place the plate infront of her. I hand her the fork so she could started eating. I can't stay still after the conversation. I wanted to know more. She act so differently on Kenzy name that I end up spacing out during meal.
"Stop it." She glared at me.
"What?"
"Stop undressing me in your mind." She almost shouted.
I can't believe this girl. She said that again.
"I'm not. If I want to undress you, not in my mind. It'll be in my bed." I threaten her.
"What are you thinking?" She back off after a small threat.
"You."
"See.. you are undressing me in your mind." She started again.
"Choel..stop the undressing talked. You don't want it to be real."
"But you---"
"Said it again and I'll dragged you to my house, place you on my bed and undressing you for real. I'm serious Choel." I'm warned her.
She cover her mouth and I took my drink trying to calm my inner desire. Among the thing she could do must it between provoke and arouse me. This lovely Choel is too beautiful to handle.
"Let's get going." I went to the counter and pay the bill.
Choel tagged behind me waiting silently. I looked back and sigh. I took her hand to lock in with mine. She stared at our lock hand quitely. Then I pulled her escape from the busy cafe.
"I prefer the feisty Choel." I stated when she not uttering a word.
"Feisty referring to small or weak person but obviously I'm not small nor weak." She started talking.
"It's also refer to lively, determined, and courageous." I added.
We walked hand in hand and chatted awhile. I enjoy this feeling of love savoring each moment with Choel.
"Have a date with me please?" I gather every piece of my courage before dare to asked for a date.
She grinned."You pay right?"
"Choel.. please be serious sometimes."
"I'll go if you pay." She chuckled
"I'll pay so go on a date with me."
"No."
I looked at her disbelief. She's playing around. She broke our lock hand berofe ran ahead.
"Choel.." I yelled as I chased after her.
I caught her before she could run far ahead. She giggles seeing my action.
"What's that for?" I confuse with her action.
"I use to play tag with Kenzy. I just want to play with you." She spoke happily.
I ignore the fact she mentions Kenzy again because I don't want to ruin our happy moment. I wrapt my arm on her shoulder then continue our tour. Some old feeling resurface sending signal in my brain making me smiled widely as I looked at Choel beside me.
I'm falling deep.
