THE NEXT DAY; D-DAY,
I saw Lucas standing in the box meant for the accused. He didn't look sorry for all that he did; at least that's what I thought. He just stood motionless staring at the judge as he pronounced his judgement. I was listening to the judge from where I sat in the court; how is possible I was there I didn't know.

"Mr. Lucas!",the judge called, "do you plead to the charges against you? ",
There was no response for a while, then he said,
"yes",
"I have found you guilty without doubt. ",the judge continued, "you are hereby sentenced to death by hanging",he then hit his mallet on the board,
Then there started a commotion in the court;people were rejoicing over the judgement. I looked at him to see him smiling as he was taken away.

Someone touched me and I looked back. Then I found myself in front of a man tying a rope. Then Lucas was brought there. Then I realized that the man was the executioner.
As Lucas was brought in he didn't struggle with them, which was strange because people usually do that when their life is in danger.

The executioner finished with the rope. Lucas was made to stand on a stool;his face was covered and the rope now tied into a knot, was put on him. A priest came and wanted to pray for his dark soul. He turned him down. The stool was taken from under him and the it was done.

Again I found myself somewhere else, possibly an office. Here I saw Badmus and another man I didn't know talking to each other. I couldn't hear their conversation at first but then I went closer.
"he is dead ",detective Badmus said,
"he might seem dead but he is not",the other man said back,

"What do you mean? I saw him get hanged",
"he will wake up again",
"what can we do to stop that? ",
Suddenly the second person turned to my direction and said,
"you are the only one that can stop him",he pointed at me,
"wake up and fight! Wake up Mikhail! Wake up",
And my eyes opened,

I awoke to the calling of my name by Mark. He was telling me to wake up.
"what is the matter?", I asked,
"there is trouble",I jumped up as he said that,
"what do you mean by trouble? ",
"Rebekah's began her mission.", Anastasia said walking in, "They are causing havoc at the areas around the presidential villa as we speak",

"where is Sarah? ",I asked as we walked out of the house,
"she is waiting outside with the rest",
"the rest? ",
"you didn't think we would go alone",
"No ",I replied, "why didn't we know this before now", I asked Mark,

"I don't know. I also want to know why?",
"your informant didn't tell you?",
"we are thinking he switched sides or he was discovered",
We got to the car and met Sarah waiting with a group of guys; I was thinking it was the men Anastasia was talking about,

We all got in our various vehicles and went on towards the fire that had already started. My only prayer was that we got there on time and quench it before it spreads; I hoped we got there on time to try and stop them.

Detective Badmus heard of the coup - if that is correct - before Mikhail and Co. He also heard that the police had tried to stop but to no avail. The only choice left for the authorities was for them to invite the army. That was the best choice for the government but not him. He had another thing in mind.

He decided to call the magician slash sorcerer.
He didn't want any involvement in this case before but now it concerned him because innocent people were getting attacked and that was a crime. He loved helping people; that was why he joined the force in the first place.

Now he and the magician were on their way there to stop the coup. He hoped that Mikhail and his people were also coming there or were there. If he was the promised saviour; he had to be there to stop Lucas.

***
Mrs. Zain had also heard of the coup. Now on TV, the reporters were talking about it. They even had a video of it playing. She was watching it right now. Her husband wasn't with her right now. He had to be out there because he was with the civil defence.

So he was needed out there. He had already assured her that he would be okay. But she was still worried. She was right to be, in her own opinion. She had already lost one person that was dear to her heart - her son - and she didn't want to lose her husband too. Life couldn't be that cruel.

She was not the type to watch news on TV, but ever since her son went missing she had begun watching them. She did to see if she would hear anything about her son. And ever since she thought she saw him that one time at their house, it intensified.

If she was not chanced to watch the news any day,she would ask her husband for update on the news. Now there were two reasons for watching.

***
At the scene of the coup, the police were trying their best to repel the attacks of the terrorists. They were no match for them but that didn't make their courage waver. Because having courage and faith gives strength.

The extra forces that was hadn't arrived. Truthfully, the force was on the losing end of the battle. If they had assistance promised them, it would have made a difference. During they discovered that one of them - the one with the hammer might be something other than human or might be using charms, because every shot fired at him had no effect on him.

And even the woman with them, was not an ordinary person because with one swipe of her hand they were thrown away in different direction which resulted in some of them getting or dying. They thought all hope was lost but then they heard gunshot sounds from somewhere.

They looked to the direction at which they heard it from and saw the back up that was promised. They were saved - not quite. The real battle had just begun, it was not time to count blessings.
And just then detective Badmus arrived there with the magician.

***
We got the presidential villa and saw what was happening. A lot of killed were dead some were injured. We went further up the path and saw Rebekah and her cohorts trying to get into the villa.

The forces were trying their possible best to stop them and protect the president and family. The Military was also there now helping out in the fight. But there were still no match for them.

As we walked further, we were sighted by Rebekah fortunately or not. She sent some of her boys to fight us. With me there was a total of twenty men. And they were prepared to fight. It was good she divided her men, the men protecting the villa now had less terrorists to fight against.

All that was left was to get Lucas and Rebekah away from there to somewhere else.
