THE ENCOUNTER(2)

Time : Day 22 of the moon , 1223 AD.
Location : Central Market , Capital Koi , Kingdom of Xie Xu

In the midst of the market , a shop was being plundered and destroyed . The owner of the shop was frantically begging the inspector to stop it . The inspector continued to ignore him and ordered his men to take out all stuff from the man's shop.

The Descendant of the Shen Wu clan , with a black cloth used as a mask, moved ahead . There was no one who tried to stop this inspector.
He moved ahead and confronted the inspector .

"What on earth are you doing? Stop it right now !"

The inspector turned towards him and said,

"It is not your business to interfere . This man has stolen from the office ."

"What did he steal that you are angered so much? Have you no shame ?"

The inspector , an impatient man took out his sword and charged towards the descendant.
The descendant was quick to defend himself and in turn strike a blow to the guard . He was about to strike him again when another sword clashed with his and prevented him from striking .

"And what makes you think that striking this inspector makes you better?"

This man who had intervened was soon followed by another man who seemed quite intimidated by the commotion.

In hushed whispers he said something to this man and signaled him to leave . But the mans eyes were locked with those of , Huang Sheng Wu , the descendant of the Shen Wu clan , whose identity was not knon to him . And nor was his existance , yet .

Huang was a little taken aback by this stranger but recovered real quick .
During the past few months ,he had analysed all most all of the nobles and royals , yet this man had more guts than anyone else . Who was he ?

"When a poor person is opressed by anyone , it becomes the duty of every bypasser to stand up to the opressor. If the inspector can't have mercy on the man , then I can't have mercy on him either ."

The stranger replied to this with a strong and husky voice,

" If the man has signed a contract and agreed to pay back the sum in form of goods ,in case that he can't pay back .
So there is question of opression or opressor.
And I am a civil servant . I know enough law to stop you from striking this inspector ."

" Huh! A civil servant you say",
Huang moved his eyes all over him . Feet poised in a defensive manner .
Stong hands and a superior grip on the sword than most civil servants . More than that , civil servants don't carry swords with them . Good argument points . Fine speech. Brave , definitely. Considering his dressing, more than likely to be some noble than a royal or civil servant .
He continued with a mischievous spark in his eyes,

" Ah! A civil servant ! My humble apologies ! A rogue man like me was wrong indeed."

The stranger stared at him with a little surprise . He had not thought of this man to be type that backs up easily. Without a fight . But then he was a too quick to judge. Just after a beat the man infront of him continued to speak .

" If you are a civil servant then my sword should not harm the inspector , It should and must , take care of you . After all you are his direct supervisor. "

Without another word the masked Huang made the first strike against this man and soon both of them were involved in a fight in the market , just near the cross section.
The fight became more aggressive , as more and more people came and formed a circle around them . Acting as mere spectators , instead of stopping the fight . A typicall human behaviour found in an inconscious society .

The two young men , however, were not stopped by this growing crowd . And nor were they limited inside this circle .
The strikes grew more violent and the mans companion immensely worried . Both of them would blow up their cover if they continued like this.Striking and dogging they reached the cross section. While Huang crossed the road , his opponent , who was actually the crown prince Jiao , furiously kicked the air . But it wasn't long than he regretted it .

The kick did not go as planned. Suddenly a white horse comming fast from one of the streets came in contact with a long stick that the prince had accidentally kicked with the air and mercilessly tripped .
The rider of the horse was wearing a long hooded cape that covered the face .

The rider was Guan Yin who almost thought she would die from the impact. She closed her eyes shut , as Tao screamed from her previous positions back . A broken back and fractured ribs were sure for her with an open skull, but divinity had better plans .

Huang immediately turned back when he heard the horse. On reflex he sprinted back and ran towards the other side of the cross section. He ran the small distance and dived roughly. He landed on knees and in a rugged motion , the rider fell on his lap

- like an autumn leaf falling towards the ground but shielded by the soft puddle of water that acts as a gentle barrier -

without being injured , and both of them continued to dive forward, and came to a stop a few inches ahead on the road.

By then his knees hard been badly scratched and bruised , infact they were bleeding . He knew nothing of his pain as he bent down to see if the person was alright , and he found a pair of eyes so tightly shut in fear , that he was reminded of himself as a child .

And took him just a second to realize that he had a girl in his arms. A very beautiful one. The girl opened her eyes and as her set of light brown eyes stared in his deep black pupils , he forgot about everything else , momentarily .
