Isn't it funny how sometimes you have to carve away at yourself, to discover who you are?
Not physically, but emotionally, spiritually. You have to go and carve away the anger, the selfishness, like the one bad spot in the centre of the potato.
you look and you see
but you do nothing
You have to go back, and do somethings that you never thought you would do again, like scream to the void inside your own head, take sugar in your Twinnings, which you haven't done since you were thirteen, listen to Debussy and read a wonderful cheesy dystopian romance.
Sometimes you have to forget yourself and redefine who you once were, to be able to look forward from behind, and say-
'This is me. I am me, and you are you. Sometimes, we get confused.'
