Signing her name with a flourish, she popped out a headphone and leaned back in the chair, humming quietly. "God this sucks" Charlie thought, but suddenly perked up. Someone was there. Standing up quickly she walked around and bumped into a kid ,. "Dude!" She yelled, "What the hell, why were you watching me?"

"Oh, sorry. You were in the way of the book I want" He shrugged, leaning over and grabbing a book titled "A guidebook to mechanism in organic chemistry" By Peter Sykes. "I wanted something new to read... You're that girl from my Science class right? Your friends with Shuri, right?" He smiled. "I'm Peter, Peter Parker."

'God,' Charlie thought, 'This kid is weird..' shrugging she held out her hand "Charlotte, Charlotte Jones"

Taking her hand and shaking it softly, peter smiled. "So. You into science at all?"

"Not as much as language." She smiled

"Dude! you should help me out with my English class! the teacher is a total jerk.."

"Yeah, wel-" She was cut off by the bell, signifying the beginning of classes. "Oh damn, here give me your hand." Charlotte grabbed his arm and wrote her number on it. "Just text me"

"Wow, a girl's phone number!" Peter laughed.

"This your first one you've gotten?"

"No!"

"It totally is, It's fine." She laughed a bit and capped her pen, turning to walk away. Maybe this place wasn't as bad as it seems.
