ESCAPE (ENGLISH POEMS)

DESTINY'S GAME

Ever since I wonder what love actually feels like
Innocence was all over my mind that's why I wanted to hike
To experience different surroundings, so much adventures at that time
But I never expected that you'll enter into my boring life

I was playing with the ladybugs and other insects in the garden
I followed the butterfly entering a place which is forbidden
I felt curious and picked the most attractive flower from the lot
But I always end up with the last petal which is 'he loves me not'

I thought, that's the real answer
Assuming that I will live my life with no one else, I swear!
I went outside the forbidden place faster
But unexpectedly, someone was waiting and standing straight beside my father

I thought destiny is making through its way
I was so happy when I knew I'm not alone that day
But opposite happened, destiny's so unfair
It's not you that I wanted until my last breath as my pair

I can't escape that day, the knot was tied already
I thought you love me because I'm trying to love you positively
But no, you were just pushed because they thought I'll become happy
Unfortunately, things turned worst, we don't like each other so badly

But days have passed, my true feelings for you suddenly appear
I was hiding beneath my smile but the truth is there's a tear
I am slowly drowning in my words with a little fear
I wanted to survive, somebody please give me a proper gear

Winter has gone and the last leaf of the tree falls
We both don't realise, between us the destiny dissolved the barrier walls
The fate is enjoying the scene which we showed
The rays of the sun upon us shadowed

Summer is approaching and the bright sun is smiling
Both of us fall in love to each other and secretly glancing
I can really feel our skin tingling
I ask myself, "Is this a happy ending?"

All is coming back the first time I saw you smile
Looking up at the birds singing on the tree of pine
With you by my side, all I ask is one more time
It's like a dream, I was contented with you being mine

It was like yesterday when you took my breath
After you left, here I am, too old and continuing my life until death
I can feel that my eyelids are already getting heavy
Wait for me my love, we'll see again and we'll end up being happy.
