"Hey! Parker!"

Peter turned, hearing his name, as he spotted Ned walking over, a girl following him with a smile on her lips.

"What's up, Ned?"

"I wanted you to meet Y/n. She's new."

His gaze turned to the girl, who he now knew as Y/n as he saw various pins on her jacket, a couple from Star Wars and one with the Spider-Man symbol.

"You like Star Wars?"

"Who wouldn't!"

Peter then turned to Ned with a smile.

"I think I'm gonna like her."

Since the first day they met, the three of them have been inseparable. From the beginning, they started a routine, where they would hang out at each other's houses every weekend, having sleepovers and watching endless reruns of Star Wars and The Office.

They had grown fond of each other, getting used to having someone else in their group, and being there for each other at all times.

Peter Parker still kept his secret. Even though Y/n was now their closest best friend, after Ned found out his secret, he vowed that he would never reveal his secret to her. It would just be too dangerous and he didn't want to put her in harms way.

The best thing to do was keep it from her. It would result in less enemies knowing who they could use against him and it would keep her safe.

There was one thing he never admitted to anyone.

He didn't just want to keep her from harm, but he loved her. He didn't want him to be the reason she was hospitalized, or worse, that she would be dead. It just wouldn't be fair and he didn't want to do that to himself.

He cared about both of them too much to put them in harms way.

What Peter didn't know is that Y/n already knew his secret.

She knew he was Spider-Man from the start.

Not only was it obvious (to her, because everyone seemed to be too oblivious) but he wasn't that great at keeping secrets.

She knew a thing or two about keeping secrets, and she had a couple of her own.

Whenever he would bail on their Friday nights, she would notice. She would notice whenever he got to school with a new bruise or flinching away from a hug because he had gotten hurt the night before. She noticed everything.

Especially the fact that his secret had now given him a pretty amazing build.

And she wasn't complaining.

The biggest nerd in school, was also the hottest guy in school.

No one knew, but he was.

Yet, he wasn't perfect. He tried to be, true for always put others before him and helping those who need it, especially after what happened with Uncle Ben and his death.

After that, he vowed that he would do everything he could to help those in need.

That included keeping secrets.

'Peter, meet me at my house in 20. I need to talk to you.'

That was the only message Peter saw on his phone as he walked through the city of Queens. Bag slung over his shoulder, he made his way to her house, arriving in 17 minutes as he knocked and she answered, a smile on her face. Welcoming him in, he sat in her house, waiting for whatever it was she would tell him.

"Peter, I know you're Spider-Man."

This took him back. The one person he thought he could keep a secret from already knew?

"How?"

"Peter, you're terrible at keeping secrets."

"Oh."

"And, I wanted to have this opportunity to talk to you about something."

Peter stopped, as he looked at his best friend, who was visibly shaking from fear.

"Hey, hey, you can tell me anything, okay? I won't judge you."

"Okay."

Y/n sighed, before she brought her hands up in front of her, saying a small spell and moving her hands, a bright yellow light glowing and materializing in front of her.

*something kind of like this*

Her hand latched onto the object, as it was made of pure light

Her hand latched onto the object, as it was made of pure light. Peter's eyes widened, seeing his best friend with powers and doing something that seemed impossible for him. He was speechless, as she kept moving the object. She walked backwards a couple steps, before flicking the object like a whip, as it latched onto Peter's wrist and pulled him towards her, his hands finding their way to her hips to stabilize himself.

"What. Was. That."

"Surprise. I have powers, Peter."

"You're kidding."

"No. I have Intergalactic Dimensional Travel."

"That's awesome!"

Y/n started laughing, not expecting an excited reaction from Peter.

"What's so funny?"

"I didn't expect you to take it well."

"My best friend has powers, how awesome is that?"

"Well, now I can join you in the superhero world."

"Wait, show me what you can do with your powers first!"

"Okay."

Y/n led him upstairs to her room, where she closed the blinds and stood in front of the door, Peter next to her, watching her every move. He was excited, and his excitement only grew as he saw his best friend start to move her hands again, only this time, in a circular motion. A bright yellow circle started forming in front of them, as it only grew, now unveiling a portal, through which they could travel from.

"Wow!"

"Do you see where that is?"

Peter glanced at y/n before looking at the portal and smiling wider.

"That's my room!"

She stopped moving her hands, grabbing one of his and pulling him with her.

"C'mon, Peter!"

She pulled him through the portal, as her room disappeared and they now found themselves inside Peter's room, as his eyes widened and he started jumping from the excitement.

"That was awesome!"

"Well, it's a lot harder than it seems."

Peter quickly turned to her, his hands on her shoulders with a smile on his face, now wider than before.

"What else can you do?"
