Chapter 26: Detention?

Cece's POV: S: school/ principals office and cafeteria

As we walked towards the office, I thought about me and Josie's fight. No, it was just an argument. Josie was glaring at me the whole walk to Mr. Burns' office. When we sat down in his office, Mrs. Lane had already called him and told him what happened.

"So, Cecile, you're new, correct?" Mr. Burns asked.

"It's Cece, and yes, I am new," I answered.

"So you do not know the rules," he concluded.

"Nope," I rolled my eyes. Mr. Burns frowned.

"Well, you should know that you never trash talk or fight." he scolded.

'At least not in public,' I thought.

"I'm sorry, sir." I batted my eyes.

"It's ok," he sighed, giving in. Josie scoffed. "As for you, Josalyn, you have lived here all your life! I'm very ashamed of both of you. Detention." he finished.

"WHAT?!" Josie exclaimed.

"Ehh, I've had worse." I shrugged. We walked out of the office, glaring away at each other.

3RD POV: -------------

Hailey, Abbi, Mal, and Chrissie sat worrying. When Cece and Josie walked in, they all jumped up and ran towards Cece.

"Girls, sit down!" Mrs. Lane yelled. Suddenly, the bell rang for lunch.

"Ahh, finally! I thought art would never end!" Abbi smiled.

"I can see why Seth hates her," Hailey mumbled. Mrs. Lane glared at Abbi and Hailey.

"Anyways, let's go to lunch," Hailey ushered. The whole walk to the cafeteria was full of questions about what happened at the principal's office.

"Well, I got a lecture and a detention. Oh well," Cece shrugged. They walked into the cafeteria. They watched Jared and Kim go sit by Jacob, Quil, Paul, Embry, Seth, Leah, Collin, and Brady. Hailey saw from the corner of her eye Mallory walking towards them.

"Let's sit somewhere else," Hailey said.

"Why?" Mallory challenged.

"That was an order." Hailey frowned. They all walked to an empty round table. Not everyone had came to lunch yet. By the time the girls sat down, their eyes were unknowingly on the table where the other wolves and Kim sat.
