Chapter One
"FENIX, MILES, STOP IT RIGHT NOW OR I'LL BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF YOUS!" I scream at the top of my lungs.
"I highly doubt you'd win that, but i'll take you up on that offer." Fenix smirks. Why God did I have to be so down blessed with these horrible boys as my related brothers. These lovely brothers of mine are throwing my diary across the living room. That diary is my brain spilled out on a page.
Fenix decides to leap out on top of me making me tumble to the floor, on my stomach, which means my back is facing up. Has he sits on my back he opens up my diary. The tattered corners of the diary begins to fall like small feathers to the floor.
"Fenix, don't you dare!" I say calmly trying to wriggle away from him which is nearly impossible due to his bloody strength and stupid fast reflexes. Plus his annoyingly high senses.
"Dear journal." He begins. I was never too fond to write down my emotional feelings on paper when I had to begin with dear diary, so I wrote dear journal. "I saw him in the hallway whilst my friend was trying to have a conversation with me." He continues clearing his throat.
"Oooooooo, who's him?" Miles mocked.
"No one you airhead, get off me now or I will......."
"Fenix, get off your sister and help me with these grocery bags will you?" Fenix jumped off my back in a hurry and looked towards the now open front door with my Aunty dragging thousands of shopping bags in her hands.
"Yea of course, come Miles." Miles shoots his attention to Aunty Karen and grabs three bags in his hand. Fenix grabs four just to mock the crap out of Miles. I quickly grabbed my diary that was thrown on the timber flooring.I jogged up the stairs making thumping noise on my way up.
"Hey? Aspen, help me put these away." Karen calls from the bottom of the stairs has the door shuts behind her. I groaned and walked back down stairs. The boys walked into the room again and they teasingly smirked. I shot them an angry look. If looks could kill they'd already be buried. I followed Karen into the kitchen. The kitchen follows on with the lightly oiled brown timber flooring. It's an open U shaped kitchen with wooden cupboards and a stainless steel fridge, dishwasher and sink. It's small but again it's open so we can fit around. We don't have much money due to the fact that it's just my 24 year old aunty taking care of 2 mischievous teenage boys and me.
"Where might these go?" I ask holding up a small bag of onions.
"Under the third draw from the fridge." She pointed towards the fridge at the front of the kitchen. I nodded and did has instructed. "Hows school?"
"Well beside the fact that mathematics teaches us how to to do the compound interest or multiply monomials, which has nothing that would help me with my future career choice. Then there is the teachers that get angry at people for swearing around the school where the human rights list has a rule that clearly states freedom of speech. Also the teachers that complain about our choice of clothing when they say we can wear whatever the hell we want. Want me to continue?" I take a deep breath in and out to make a bigger effect on my rant.
I do my homework, last minute because I got it friday and it's now Sunday, and also said I would and so far all of it goes in one ear and out the other. I close my math book in frustration. How is this gonna get anyone far in life. I mean seriously. Realtible am I right?. I hear the sound of music as the TV downstairs turn son, loud.
"ASPEN COME DOWNSTAIRS AND STOP WRITING IN THAT GOD FORSAKEN DIARY!" Miles knocks on the door loudly.
"Miles Shut up, i'm doing last minute homework ok?" The door slams open and both of my oddly annoying brothers walst into the room like they own the place. "Get out!" I scream and throw a decorative pillow at Fenix' face. He laughs and throws me over his shoulder. "OMIGOD, FENIX WHAT THE FUDGE?" I scream smacking his back watching his feet trudge down the stairs.
"Sit down, we are watching a movie, as a family." He says the last part in a high pitched voice. He plonked me down on the lounge and sat next to me. Miles sat down on the single lounge and looked down at his phone.
"You know, Miles was doing just fine convincing me to come downstairs." Miles laughs as he stands and walks past me. But of course being the pest he is he shrivels my hair around messing it up. Chuckling he escapes to the kitchen in order to help Karen. "Look, I love you guys, but please dial it down a little bit."
"Fine, no dating for the rest of this year and we will dial it down a little." And god blessed me with one super fun brother who jokes around and plays nice, then the twin who is a devil but over protective. Well they both are protective, but Fenix is a bit over the top. I crossed my arms and he chuckled. "Yes or no?"
"Why that? Why not you get 10 bucks or something?"
"Because I know how boys treat girls these days and i don't want my little sister to go through that. Like do you really want a guy to help you take off your clothes and they do the same and insert-----" I cut him off quickly
"Dude, seriously, too far." I wave my hand in his face to make sure he won't finish his sentence.
"Just making a point." He laughs quietly but I hear him.
