Guanlin's POV

"Hi, Areum" I said "I wasn't sure if it was you since you said you'll be leaving today but I still dragged you anyways... It would have been really awkward if I dragged another person..." I mumbled

Areum laughed and pinched my cheeks "Well you're lucky it was really me, Guava pabo. Oh and congratulations!! I guess you're gonna be busy now huh?"

I stared at her and she looked at me confusingly.

"What? Do I have something on my face? Or are you mad because I called you--

I didn't let her finish whatever she was saying but instead, I hugged her tightly.

"Ya, you okay? Why are you suddenly hugging me huh? It's so unlike you"

"Shh... I've already done a lot of unexpected things because of you. Just let me hug you for the last time before I completely let you go"

"Let me go? Guanlin, what are you--

"I like you, Areum. So much. I know you don't feel the same way, I know you only see me as a friend. That's why I never really bothered to confess before."

"Guanlin..."

"Don't feel sorry, I knew how much you liked Jihoon. It was my fault for falling in love with you even though I already knew from the start that your heart belongs to someone else"

Areum's eyes became glossy as she hugged me tightly "Yah Guava, Why didn't you tell me anything before huh?" She mumbled as she cried onto my shoulder

"It's not like something would change if I told you, right?"

"But still!!" She complained as she hit my chest which made me chuckle at her childish act

"Why are you crying?" I asked her "My uniform's gonna be wet because of you, you know?" I joked

She stopped hugging and glared at me as tears were still falling from her eyes

"I-I'm crying b-because I h-hurt you! I d-don't want to hurt you but then I d-did!" She said and I shook my head.

"It's not your fault, pabo" I told her and wiped her tears with both of my thumbs. "Stop crying, I can't possibly wipe all of your tears if you won't stop"

After quite some time, Areum finally stopped crying

"We'll still be friends right? You won't ignore me right?" She asked

"What kind of questions are those? Of course we'll still be friends. Now what are you waiting for? I know you were looking for Jihoon before I dragged you here" I chuckled

She smiled slightly "Are you sure it's okay for you if I leave?"

"Of course. Now gooo!" I told her and she waved at me before leaving

I sighed. I guess that was it.

Lee Areum, I still wish for your happiness... Even if it's with someone else...
