Angel In Disguise
Prologue
He brought the sunglasses onto the bridge of his nose. Smirking arrogantly at the people around him who were obviously looking at every movement.
Reece Walker. He was the guy Rosenfield High students treat as a king. He is the guy who all girl fawn and gawk over. And he is also the guy who boys envy, wishing that they were him. And like every cliche school, he is the player. The player who plays and breaks other girls heart for no apparent reason. Every girl knows his plan, yet they are still determined to tame his player heart and change his attitude and ways. Yet, so far, nobody managed to do so. Nobody has any idea why he was like this. He never got his heart broken. His family is one of the richest people on earth. He always managed to be in the popular list with ease, and he also has perfect grades. No wonder all girls think of him as the dream guy, well excluding the fact that he was a player.
Voices were to be heard as he walked flawlessly out of his car into the school, all pupils' eyes follows him while doing so. He lifted his sunglasses up, and started marching towards his locker, beside and behind him were his friends and their temporary girlfriends. They were known for breaking hearts that it once had a rumor about one of them broke the heart of a college student. Their group was called "the players." And I think you know the reason why.
Reece went towards his locker, once he successfully did so, he grabbed his books and shut the locker door lock.
"What's up, Reece?" Jason inquired. Poking him while saying it. Reece flinched for he was quite ticklish, nobody aside from his friends, and his second mother, who was his maid who practically raised him up ever since knows about it.
"Parents are gone, as always," he stated, already used to the fact that his parents were never at his side, all because of a stupid company that matters more than him. They sauntered into separate ways walking towards their own classroom.
"Hi Reece," someone screeched from behind. Reece walked faster at the sound of his voice. Even a blind man can tell that he didn't like that girl.
"Reece! Wait up!" The girl complained.
He then ran towards his room, once he reached the place he was completely out of breath, all students looked at him, some looking curious while other, who were girls were staring flirtatiously at him. He awkwardly walked towards his seat, feeling the people's gaze on his back. They were practically creating a hole onto his body!
He sat down and let a deep breath out. He was leaning on his chair when somebody poked his shoulder. He looked behind to see a girl who was breathtakingly gorgeous. She wore a white summer dress that went until her knees, her hair naturally falling on her shoulders. Her face, showing naiveness and beauty, and to top it off she did not wear any make up and wasn't half naked like other girls in his school were. His eyes almost budged out of its sockets.
Come on Reece, you made a lot of girls fall onto their knees therefore I believe that you can do that to her too! He thought to himself.
But at the same time, her innocent face was practically digging a hole into his chest, he never had a serious relationship. And frankly, he really want to but he never knew how. His parents never was around to show what love was and so it was like a stranger to him.
Relax Reece, it is just a girl! He tried calming himself, but miserably failed. His heart was furiously pumping in his chest, and air, it feels like there were none!
"Hi! I'm Angel!" she said, and just as how he expected it, her voice was calming, smooth and all. She was like the epitome of beauty!
"I-I'm Reece!" He stuttered.
