Don't you love a good A/N at the beginning of the chapter, that you'll only just end up skipping? It's been a long time, and I doubt many people are excited to see I'm back but hey, here I am! I'm back because now I know someone actually reads this! You know exactly who you are darl, and you are honestly my drive for writing this chapter! I hope you like it and continue to like the rest of my horribly written story! I apologize for it being short, I'm going to actually pre-write something and I should be updating tomorrow or on Monday <3 - your least favorite author, idol

"Shh, just relax. I'm here to help."

In no way did that assist her in calming down. (Name) stared wide-eyed, only to end up repeating herself. "What are you?" Whatever was in front of her wasn't human, or at least wasn't entirely.

They were humanoid, that was for sure. The figure had a large rat-shaped head made of the crystals littered around the odd land. The crystal was an off-white color and it was thickly coated in dirt. Even though it was hard to see through it, she could tell there was something in it, and judging by the shape it was a human's head. Much like the other inhabitants, the gal had stumbled into the creature also had a tail.Flecks and larger chunks of crystal were splattered all over the rat's tail. It was dressed in shabby layers, primarily dark greys, and blacks. One of the only hard defining articles of clothing she noticed was a large striped grey scarf that hid its neck and a pair of tough-looking black groves.

Perhaps her question was ignored, or perhaps it was answered and she didn't hear, but in the time (Name) had been observing all of the features it had gotten closer. It was within arms reach of her now. She watched in terror as it moved its arms up, reaching towards her like it would grab her. The (hair color) haired gal knew she wouldn't be able to run like she had before, still feeling drained. She panicked, holding her arms like a shield to the rest of her body, tightly closing her eyes. She felt a cold grip on her wrists.

Slowly she opened her eyes, staring at the creature. "I won't hurt you." Everything it did was gentle, cautious even. Treating (Name) as if she was as fragile as a priceless glass vase. It uncurled her fingers, making her show it her palm. She staid tense though was put at a bit more ease mentally with their seemingly kind acts.

"... But..." (Name) immediately let out a pained hiss as a sharp sting traveled up her palm into her wrist. Her (eye color) eyes shot down her left hand. Her wrist was still being held by one of the creature's hands. Its other hand had it's glove removed, revealing normal looking skin. It pressed it's hand against her's, the harsh stinging cold somehow coming from it.

"The removal process does hurt."
