When Kendra got home she called Lydia right away. Lydia had always been the girl she turned to and that wasn't going to change. She would, of course, leave out the body, the fire, and the whole kill Kendra thing, but she was not going to keep the amazing sex she had with Derek Hale a secret from her best friend. "Hello." Lydia greets.

"Lydia, you'll never believe what happened to me." Kendra throws her jacket onto the back of her chair and kicks her boots off before falling back onto her bed.

"Good or bad." Kendra grins.

"Am-" Kendra nearly jumps ten feet in the air as she hears a knock on her window and sees Derek Hale crouched outside it.

"K.Dra?"

"Hold on my mom wants something, be right back."

"But-" Kendra puts her phone under her pillow, wanting Lydia not to hear what could possibly be said. Kendra walks to her window and opens it up.

"You know this could be considered stalking." Kendra pointed out.

"Are you going to let me in?"

"I could, but where would the fun in that be?" Kendra asks with a grin. Derek narrows his eyes at her, but her grin never left her face.

"Kendra."

"Derek."

"I see why my cousin likes you." This causes Kendra's eyebrows to shoot up in surprise.

"Your cousin does not like me." Derek used this moment to slip into her bedroom. His eyes take in her room. Her room had deep pumpkin orange walls with mahogany wood flooring that matched her dresser, her desk, her closet doors, and her bed frame. Her bed is a canopy bed with white silk see-through curtains that surrounded the bed and hid it from view. The walls had dozens of pictures on it of fairies and sculptures of the fairies filled the room. Derek bites back a smile as he saw her room.

Her room was set up to look classy and grown up, but the pictures and sculptures show her child side. Kendra crosses her arms as if to guard herself against whatever he could say negative about her room. The only people who have been in her room beside her parents have been Lydia. No one else was trusted into the one place that Kendra didn't have to hide away in. This room was where Kendra truly allowed herself to shine through and having someone new see it always made her feel nauseous.

"If my cousin is going out of his way to drive you nuts then that means he likes you. He usually doesn't waste his time on boring people and he does have a temper that he can't control when near people he hates." Derek tells Kendra as he turns to her. Kendra frowns.

"What is it you want, Derek?" She asks, half anxious to get him out of her room and half wanting him to come here to continue what they did in the forest.

"Are your parents home?" Kendra's heart skips a beat.

"My mom doesn't live here. She lives with her boyfriend in town, but she comes here a lot to check on. She probably won't today though and my dad is at work still."

"Do you mind if I have a look around? Maybe your father has something on what you are." Kendra's mood drops. He just wanted to look through her father's things.

"Uh, yeah, sure. If anything, it'll probably be in his office. That's down the stairs and the second door to the left." Derek nods before heading out of the room. She waits awhile before grabbing her phone. "Sorry, I'm back."

"Took you long enough. I almost thought you weren't coming back." Kendra sits in her bed, pulling the curtains closed again and hiding her from view.
