[5] "With David?"

A month passed since I met David and we became really close friends. Wyatt is still being an asshole and my dad is still treating me like a baby.

So basically, nothing has really changed.

It was friday morning, thank god the last day of school of the week. I walked downstairs to see "my" family sitting around the table.

"Morning" I dat next to Jack.

"Good morning, Jae-Jae, how did you sleep?" my dad asked with a small laugh, knowing exactly what he's doing.

"Yeah, Jaeden. How did you sleep?", Wyatt grinned like a dumbass.

"I'm not a baby" I rolled my eyes at them.

"Sure, whatever you say, also can you bring Jackson to his basketball practice after school?"

"Well, I already have plans ..."

"With David ?" Wyatt laughed like it was a joke that I have friends when actually his friendship with Finn was a joke.

"It's none of your business", I glared at him.

"Jaeden, stop acting childish and selfish, you'll walk Jackson to his practice tonight. End of the discussion"

"So I'm the one who's selfish? Excuse me but who made us move here? I've never asked to live here! You took the decision alone without asking us if we wanted to! So don't say that I'm the one who's selfish!" I snapped, maybe sounding too angry.

"If that would help, I can walk Jackson." Wyatt acted like a perfect kid that every parent would like to have.

"Wyatt, I swear to god, shut the fuck up for once in your life.", I said angrily through my teeth.

"Jaed-", my dad started but I cut him off since I have enough.

"No, stop. Jackson, come with me, we're going to school.", I stood up before I slammed the door shut behind me and Jackson.

Jackson grabbed his bag and we walked out of the house and I noticed that Jackson was a little off, looking at the ground while walking.

"Listen, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have reacted that way, but I couldn't take it anymore.", I apologized.

He mumbled something that I couldn't really understand so I asked him, "What?"

"Nothing, it's okay.", he spoke up.

"No, it's not and I'll walk you to your training", I punched his shoulder playfully.

"Thanks", he smiled.

"Well, here we are.", I put a hand on his shoulder when we were in front of the school.

"Bye.", Jackson waved and disappeared behind the school doors.

"Jaeden, wait!", I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I turned around to see Wyatt running towards me and I got nervous so I just continued to walk to my school, pretending that I wasn't able to hear him.

"Wait, please", he overtook me, causing me to stop right in front of a boy who was out of breath with curly hair bouncing in front of his face as his breath hitched.

"Leave me alone, Wyatt" I tried not to look at him and walked passed him.

"What did I do wrong?" he asked grabbing my wrist making me stop.

"Everything. You did everything wrong" I glared at him.

"I don't understand, honestly"

"Yes, same, I don't understand how you can be such an asshole after all", I rolled my eyes while we started walking next to each other to the school.

"Are you fucking serious, Jae?" he started to yell, making me almost flinch but I didn't dare to.

"I fucking told you to stop calling me Jae!" I looked at him dead in the eyes.

"Of course, David can call you Jae but I can't" he tried whisper but he was terrible at it.

"What did you say? Could you please speak up?", I teased him.

"Nothing, you know what? Go to fuck your stupid friend, it's all you can do well" he looked at me angry.

"You're just jealous" I don't know why I said that and I realized that I shouldn't have said that after it just slipped out.

"Jealous of him? Oh, please. What does he have that I don't?", he chuckled to himself.

"I hate you", I realized we already had arrived at school.

"Same here" he said before walking towards his friends, leaving me here angrily.

"Hi, Jae", I turned and saw David smiling at me.

"Oh, hi, David" I faked a smile.

"Coming with me? I have something to take in my locker." he nodded his head towards the lockers and leaded us there.

He opened his locker and I leaned against another one. I can't help but couldn't stop thinking about why everyone treats me like a baby. I mean I'm more of an adult than Wyatt will ever be so why don't they treat him like a baby? That needed to stop. I realized that I was staring after I came up with an idea.

"What are you thinking about?", he asked closing his locker, leaning against it next to me.

"Okay, you'll probably think that I'm fucking crazy but I need you for something", I smiled awkwardly.

"I promise that I won't think that, now tell me what you need me for", he smirked, probably thinking something dirty which made me feel a little uncomfortable.

"Would you mind if we skipped first period?"

"Nah, it's okay, want to go to the coffee shop behind the school?"

I nodded and we headed down the street to the little café called 'nighttime'. As we entered, I smelled coffee but it wasn't warm, it was cold because there were fans in every edge. We sat down and ordered iced coffees.

"So, tell me what's on your mind.", David spoke up first, looking directly at my eyes.

"I- well, you probably know how everyone treats me like a baby. So I want it to stop but I didn't know how. But, now I have a plan; maybe if I was in a relationship, my dad would see how grown up I actually am" I took a sip of my iced coffee.

"And so you want me to be your fake boyfriend?" he asked, getting the plan.

I hesitated before I nodded, "Yes, but just for around a month and then we'll break up because you cheated on me or something, if that's okay."

"Okay", he smiled "but I'd never cheat on you, Jae"

"Wait,really? You're gonna help me?" I asked excited, ignoring the last part of his sentence.

"Yes,I want to help you"

„Oh my god, thank you so much!" I exclaimed.

"Anything for you, so do we have to kiss and all?"

"Um only when we'll hang out at my house or when we see one of my family. " I answered.

"Ok, baby", he laughed at his sarcasm but to be honest, it made me feel a little awkward.

"I have to walk my brother to his training tonight want to come with me?"

"sounds good" he smiled.

We finished our coffees and headed back to school. After all the lessons, David and I decided that we would meet at his locker, so we did.

As Wyatt and Finn walked past us, David grabbed me by my hips and kissed me. It felt weird, but I kissed back.

After I broke the kiss, I grabbed Davids hand, walking out of the school and leaving Wyatt shocked.

This plan was going to work.
