Da-in's POV
"DA-IN! GET OUT OF HERE!" My brother jaesang yelled. I was terrified, i didnt know what to do.
"JAESANG IM NOT LEAVING YOU HERE, LET ME HELP!" I yelled in tears.
One of the three dudes stabbed my brother in the stomach. He yelped and fell to the ground.
"JUST GO!" He yelled weakly. I hesitated but then started to run. I ran as fast as i could through the night. I ran to mine and jaesangs favorite park. I kept thinking that he was okay and when i dial 911 theyll say hes going to be alright. My breathing was shaky. I brought out my phone and dialed 911.
"This is 911 what is yout emergency...?"
"M-my brother... W-we accidentally ran into this dude i think he killed my b-rother." I began to sob. The woman on the other line tried to calm me down and asked where I was at and where he was. And all this personal information. They hung up and i just waited until the police cars arrive for me. Once i heard the sirens i walked over to the car, with my legs still shaking. And they helped me into the car. We began driving. I kept thinking of the worst possibilities. no he is not dead. that's not possible. he's my big brother he could handle just a small cut right. he's okay.he is okay.... Once we got to the hospital one of the officers helped me out of the car and into the waiting room.
For what felt like hours, one of the nurses came in.
"Da-in?"
I lifted my head up and the nurse frowned.
"Da-in... I'm so very sorry but your brother didnt make it..."
i froze and stared at the nurse. My eyes quickly tearing up. I stayed quiet. hes dead.... I slowly got up and headed towards the door. The nurse looked concerned but she let me go. I had a blank expression on my face with tears just going down my cheeks. I continued walking. He died because i couldnt help him. I continued walking. He died because i was selfish and just tried to save myself before even trying to save him. I continued walking. He's dead the only one that i wad close to was dead. I stopped walking. I found myslef in that park. The park me and jaesang loved to go to. Chulsoon park. I went over to the benches near the garden. With all the pretty flowers. It was his favorite spot. I began sobbing. Loudly. No one was really here so i didnt care. I needed to let my emotions out. All this sadness all this anger inside of me . I hid my face in my knees and cried. I cried till i didnt have anymore tears. I then felt a presence come close. I grew nervous. I slowly lifted my head up. And saw a man. Early 20's looking. Adorable sharp eyes and a sweet kind smile.His face looked relaxed. But also concerned.
"Are you okay...?" He asked taking a seat next to me.
"Y-yeah. wait.n-n-no. No I'm not." I said.
