From the dusty ground, The Boy on the Moon rose. Another beginning of eternity, yet nothing has changed. The Sun still illuminated the skies brighter than he did; the Stars flickered along the black canvas of nothingness; The Boy on the Moon was still alone. Yes, he did have The Dark Side of the Moon to wander around from time to time, but lately The Dark has been taking over his conscience and unconscious.

Kim Taehyung, The Boy on the Moon, was an ageless boy. His existence dated back to the beginning of time. God himself created him as "The lesser light to rule the night,". However, God has blessed him with a gift like no other.

You see, Taehyung's immortal soul was tied to an immortal body. One couldn't exist without the other, meaning his soul was always bound to be in the body of The Boy on the Moon. However, every twenty-nine days his soul could leave the body for a day and wander around. The remains of his unconscious shell will dimly shine upon the the spirits on The Blue Planet. The next day, he shall rise again and illuminate the sky, guide the lost souls to what they are searching and seeking.

Sometimes he wishes there was someone who could guide him like he guides others.

Today, the first day of this eternal cycle, Taehyung, although dusty from the Moon's harsh surface, looked refreshed and reenergized. As per usual, his ash-grey hair was messily scattered across his forehead but The Boy on the Moon wasn't fazed by it. His light blue eyes explored the horizon with hope that there would be something different, anything different, but all was the same. The Boy on the Moon pressed his light pink lips together to form a straight line, displaying his dissatisfaction of the current and everlasting situation.

Taehyung controlled the tides and waters, seasons and cycles but the spirits down on The Blue Planet often seemed to forget that. They were far more fascinated by the shine of the Sun but The Boy on the Moon didn't mind that at all. He preferred the much smaller audience that enjoyed his company at night. Those souls felt lonely at the early hours of the morning and The Boy on the Moon often reflected this emotion, but at the end of the day, or the night rather, the Sun came up to shine upon those spirits, and this emotion fell away. But how could Taehyung get rid of this emotion when there was no one to shine upon him?
