"Happiness"

I felt like time stopped for a whole minute
Their eyes glinting with happiness
I looked at them all separately
Each of them smiling wide
Their eyes were filling up with tears
We were having a beautiful moment
And I'm sure no one noticed it but me
Laughing about dumb mistakes we've made
Making fun of one another
Making up stories that didn't even happen
They were too busy laughing
But I, I took the moment in, and I smiled softly
It's memories like these that stick to you
It's moments like these that shouldn't be taken for granted
I miss when we were one
We aren't connected anymore
And no matter what they think of me or us
I know that I'll always love them unconditionally
