2: his start

The boy sat on his porch as he scrolled through his phone. Sighing a bit as casey hadn't texted him back. He decided to call dirk.

"Hey!" Diderik responded happy to hear from the boy. He lives across town so the two boys didn't get to hear from each other often unless it was via text or on weekends as one was still on high school.

"What Gucci?" The younger asked the older knowing it would make him annoyed.

"One day I am gli g to go throw this phone and give you a nuggy." The older said to the other causing the brunette boy to laugh.

"Id like to see you try. But seriously what's up. I'm bored and I finished all my homework."

"Oh I'm your resort when your bored. I feel uses. Dear brother why do you hurt me like this?"

"Oh stop being dramatic. At least o called you before I called em
Now tell me what's going on." He pestered the older male.

"Oh I'm just watching TV. Actually I want food" he explain. Elliot could hear him getting up grabbing his keys.  "Do you wanna go get taco bell with me?"

"I'm broke"

"I'll pay for you dummy. Yes or no?"

"Sure just let me go change." Elliot says getting up going inside wearing PJ pants and a muscle shirt.

"We're going yo taco bell not dinner with the Queen." The older said getting in his car.

"And I still wanna look good." Elliot rolled his eyes. "I'll see you when you get here no talking and driving."

"Yes dad." Diderik hung up. The younger went and put on black jeans and yellow hoodie. He brushed his hair and made his was downstairs sure to tell his parents where he was going to avoid worry or panic. He waited 10 minutes. Diderik open said he took a lot of lefts. He did it purely to quote a brendon Rogers video.

"Religion makes me straight so I'm taking 3 lefts."

As much as elliyo hated it he couldn't help but love it because it was a weird quirk about his friend he considered family. He sighed as diderik finally pulled I'll.

"Took you long enough."

"You know I make all the lefts I can."  It was a running joke 2 years now Elliot heard it when he hot picked up by this dork he loved. He got in and buckled up.

"Can we go to the mall after?" He asked shyly.

"I see this crush is still running hard."

"It is not a crush!" The dark haired whined.

"Mmhm. That's why we only go to the mall when they're working?"

"No I need new pins yeah pins."

"Whatever you say."

They drove listening to music singing at the top of their lungs. Honestly both feeling so happy to be alive in thus moment. Nothing was going wrong lately a d they were content. When pulling up to the taco bell they were well k own at. Mainly because diderik loves tacos of all kinda so much that he ordered 600 tacos once and ate only that for a month.

"Oh hey your back!" One of the employees waved at them. Diderik waved back. They stood inline. But Elliot could hear the conversation going on at the till with another employee and old man.

"How do i even know if your a veteran. You could easily lie." The female employer said rudely.

"But miss I showed you my Id card. My granddaughters really wants taco bell by I forgot my bank card at home. I don't have enough to pay." The man tried to vouch for himself but the last looked at the man like he was evil.. Elliot hated hearing this. It was so rude and unneeded.

"Elliot don't-" it was too late.

"Um excuse me." Elliot says making his was to the mans aid. "What Is your issue lady. If he showed you proof hes a vet hes a vet. Hes not younge. Hes clearly spent his life fighting for this country's. Fighting to keep your freedom and how to you repay him? Being rude and excusing him of lying? Like seriously?"

"And who are you to tell me what I can and can't do."

"I might not be fighting for this country's freedom but I'm human enough to understand that he gave up his life and his privileges. Where's your manager no one should be treated like this."

"I'm not getting my manager." She said stubbornly.

"Ok well find me someone who can. You are treating people like they font matter." Elliot watched the employee who waved him backing away to the office. He cane back with an older woman.

"Is there a problem." She ssjed polietly.

"Yes there is. This nice man here is a vet and hes forgot his debt card at home and this Lady here I'd accusing him of lying about serving our country. You guys offer a vet discount. And hes  shown proof of being a vet."

"Oh dear. I'm so sorry Sir. Could I see the proof." The manager says
The old man nodded and gives her a card. "Well this is real so I'll happily give you the discount."

Elliot smiled feeling happy someone else was also showing the veteran respect.

"Thank you son that was very brave of you."

"Well someone's gotta speak up for issues." Elliot nodded.

Soon diderik and a Elliot were on their was to the mall with stomachs full of food and a happy feeling in Eliot's chest.

They spent a few hours at the mall. Elliot admired Casey far away. He sighed. It was a little strange that his best friend and the one who knew about his crush was non another than his crushs brother. He adored the person. Everything they did. He was so happy they were on the same class. 

Once again they just happened to be at the mall when Casey's shift was over. The drive was quick. They dropped Elliot off.  He smiled at the small half hung from his two friends. He went into his room and put his bag down. That contained a few Lin's to add to his collection. He made a face when he heard a clank.

"What the hell?" He asked himself as he went to take oiy a small box. He opened it. He didnt remember buying this. He just opened it a black ring with a paw in it. Maybe a gift from dirk? He slipped it on and looked at it.

"Looks nice." He heard and looked seeing a black little being with green eyes and almost screamed but did but I'm ant his parents to dear so he covered his mouth.

"What the fook who are you?" He asked.

"Hi I'm plagg. You know magical being and all. I give you powers." He says like a script it was really. He was secretly excited to have a new kitty.

"What do you mean!" A similar conversation like what casey had with tiki.

"Claws out. That what you say." He tells him.

"Okay." He says. He said the phrase and then suddenly Elliot's party was completely covered in a black tight leather leotard and cat ears his hair and went slightly longer but stay the same color he looked at himself in the mirror and gasped. He stared at himself it was like it was a completely different person he kept staring in the mirror completely surprised but with claws going to tell me I don't see any small black mask around his eyes he stared at himself for a good 20 minutes not moving he eventually said claws in becoming his normal self again.
