Kevin Moon, Ji Changmin

7:34am, Monday

Kevin walked onto the campus of his new university feeling pretty pumped; it was a new year, a new country as well as an opportunity to make new friends - which he was looking forward to.

The week prior, he had still been in Canada packing for the ever-so-exciting trip to South Korea. During this time his mother constantly pestered him about finding a place to stay, suggesting apartments upon apartments - all of which Kevin found to be far too expensive rent-wise, so he decided to look himself.

As he stood in the long line of people, all presumably here for the same reason he is - to move into their new apartment - Kevin took the time to remember what made this particular one stand out so much.

He had seen an ad, if you will, on the university's forums from someone a year older than him; he wasn't entirely sure he lived up to the 'preferably neat, quiet and organised' part but what drew him in was the fact that this particular someone was looking for someone who spoke English. Not really caring about anything else the advertisement said he contacted them and asked about staying together.

This someone, from what Kevin could remember, is named Jacob and he also comes from Canada. Conveniently, he happens to be studying music much like Kevin himself - but Kevin realised quite quickly why Jacob had been looking for someone quiet, as the boy hardly says more than a few words; even in text conversations. Kevin also found him to be pleasant and the two hit it off quite easily, despite the fact that Kevin was far more excitable than what Jacob had first anticipated, making Jacob Kevin's first new friend even before actually moving to Korea.

Finally it was his turn to speak to the surly looking woman behind the front counter, she gave him a withered look to which Kevin smiled brightly in return, throwing her a little off-guard, he took it upon himself to quickly read the name tag she was wearing.

"Hello, uh, Miss Park Juhee, I'm Kevin Moon - I'm just wondering what apartment I'm staying in? I've made arrangements to share with Jacob, um, Jacob Bae." Juhee nodded, her expression lifted a little; glad to be speaking to someone who didn't look like they could use a cup coffee and better nights sleep.

"Jacob? I didn't picture him be the type to want a roommate, but I suppose he did mention it to me once a little while ago..." Juhee muttered. "He's in apartment 1103, I look forward to getting to know you better Kevin - you seem like just as much of a nice boy as what Jacob is himself. And, please, just call me Juhee."

"Oh, thank you so much. I'll do my best to not be a nuisance, Juhee," Kevin grinned as Juhee passed over a set of keys to him and a student ID for the university which she had been keeping in her top drawer for the past few days alongside many others.

"Yes, yes, have a nice day," Juhee said as Kevin rushed off in excitement. Dropping her expression once more she looked at the next student, "What is it that you want?"

"Oh, hi," The boy said, a little startled by the darker attitude of Juhee, especially after seeing something much more bright from her interactions with the boy in front of him. "I'm Ji Changmin, I'm looking for my apartment number."

"Oh, you too? Did you decide to change things up again?" Changmin titled his head, a little confused.

"I'm sorry, but do you know me or something? Because I don't think we've met,"

"No, not really, but you're notorious for changing apartments and roommates all the time - do none of them ever satisfy you?" Changmin nods. Juhee had a solid point, Changmin had moved in with five different people over the course of his first year - everyone he lived with all liked partying too much.
