"Kuro! My brother will be here in any minute! Look at the mess you've done!" I scolded Kuro. He looked at me with the same expression. He still kept eating the potato chips. "Oh, so you want this, baka?!" I said furiously when I put the vacuum cleaner in his body. "Ow! Ow! Ngah! Ow!" He stammered. "Don't you know how to give care towards cute pets like me? I'd like to see the looks of your parents right now" he said. When he mentioned about my parents, my eyes became teary and stopped the tease. "Come to think of it, where are your parents?" He asked. Silence ruled the room for a second then I spoke. "My parents are gone. Long gone. My brother and I used to be together with our parents. Not until, when we were walking down the street. A drunk man was riding a car. And since, he's drunk, he drove the car without control. The car was supposed to hit me and Mahiru. But, unfortunately. Our parents covered us up to protect us from the car. We didn't expect to see our parents... Dead. The culprit was arrested and one day, the two of us were in the funeral. We heard our family relatives talking. No one wants to take care of us. Until, one of our uncles decided to take care of us. I don't know what will happen to the two of us if he refused like our other relatives". Kuro looked away in shame. "Sorry about that" he said as he hug me. "Oh. Um, thanks Kuro" I said and I let go. "Mahiru will be here. Please turn back to a cat and hide under my bed". Kuro nodded and I clean up all the mess, just in time. My brother entered the apartment, carrying bags of ramen. "What took you so long?" I asked as I close my bedroom door. "Since the store is new, I need to line up for that long, freaking line" he complained and entered the kitchen. "Ramen? I'll go wait in my room and just give me a knock, okay?" I said as I go in my bedroom. "Okay" he said.

"Sorry I took long" I apologized. "It's okay. I understand" Kuro said. "Say, your brother works?" He asked. "Yeah" I said as I turn off the TV. "What do you want to do?" I asked. "Well, it depends to you" he said. "I'll bring you ramen after dinner, okay?" I smiled and Kuro purred back in response. I heard a knock at the door. Mahiru . (-_-) "Its time for dinner" he said. I winced at Kuro and he nodded back. I left the room.
