Whats A Soulmate?

A soulmate is someone who is always there for you when you need it...

You have this feeling to hold them close, to hug them, to kiss them...

They can make you happy with a smile and a word or two.

Doesn't matter the gender...female, male.

A soulmate is a soulmate.

And you love them no matter what...

     I walk in the cafeteria with my head hung low and my hair covering my face. Being the new kid stinks, its every child's worst nightmare. The fact everyone is looking at you with a sense of curiosity wondering of your past and why you're here.

I hate it.

This isn't the first school I've moved to.  After my parents past away a year ago I've never felt the same.

Happy, energetic, loved.

The only thing I feel is pain.

I felt a new pair of eyes looking at me out of curiosity I looked up to see a pair of blue eyes looking at me from a distance. He started making his way over as I try and see if I can make it to the exit. But lucky me I can't.

A hand grabs my arm and spins me around to the blue orbs and gentle smile. I  smile back a brush my hair out of my face. His hand remands on my arm as butterflies erupt in my stomach.  

"Do you want to sit with us?" he asked, his voice gentle with every word. Not trusting myself with my mouth I nodded and sat next to him at his table. I found out his name is Zach. He tried to get me to open up and it worked.

For once in a long time I feel happy...

                                                                                     1 Month Later

This text message from Zach makes me nervous.

We need to talk. I'll be at your place in 20. 

What does he want to talk about?

A loud beep of a car horn breaks me out of my thoughts. I rub my sweaty palms on my shorts and open the door to see a car parked in my driveway with Zach behind the wheel.

The car ride was silent, no one talking. I felt myself looking at him every so often.

The car stops.

I look around to see a waterfall! Zach gets out and I shortly follow.

I look at the waterfall in awe.

"Look up" I hear a voice whisper in my ear.

I look up to see a plane driving by with a sign attached to the back.

Will you be my girlfriend?

As soon as I read the words a launch myself at Zach my lips attaching to his. He seems shocked at first but kisses back.

I feel the tingles, the sparks.

If you asked me a while ago if I believed in a soulmate I would have laughed.

But now not so much.

I love Zack.

There's no question about it.

At last I am happy  and I am loved.
