The moment Yoongi's eyes opened he trudged his body over to his desk and slumped himself into the chair, recalling sentences he'd thought of yesterday he scribbled down sloppy words that he hoped made sense. Drawing the last line of a kiss on his note, he slid the paper into the packed envelope and licked it closed before gathering the items he'd need for work.
Yoongi stood by the door mentally ticking off the list of things he'd collected and put in his shoulder bag, laptop (tick), Notepads (tick), spare pens (tick), personal headphones (tick), Car keys (tick), House keys (tick), and envelope. Checking his bag and his surroundings he couldn't find it, a groan rumbled from his throat as he shuffled back to his bedroom and spotted it on the desk.
Finally sure he had everything he needed, he set off out his door and let it lock itself behind him. his first destination was the flat, number 7, he wanted to drop the envelope off hopefully before the latter was awake as he didn't really feel like having to run to his car; when he reached the bottom of the steel stairs he looked up and was startled to see Namjoon and Jin exiting the apartment he was headed to, darting behind the closest wall he snooped on his friends, why the hell were they here? All he wondered was if they'd found him, he always kept his home a secret as it was his little haven, like a little bubble of safety, and he didn't enjoy people coming in and popping the lovely place he had so what better way to keep it safe than to keep it hidden.
"Do you want us to tell him you're gonna be there later?"
Yoongi suspected it was Namjoon who had said that as the words he said weren't enunciated as well as Jin would.
"Yeah," A familiar voice spoke tiredly. He could tell that this was neither Jin nor Namjoon speaking but he couldn't put his finger on it, he was going to brush it off until he peaked his head around the corner to catch a glimpse of the unforgettable mop of brown hair and small baby. "Say bye Joon and Jin." The boy said to the little one and he saw them both wave the older two away before he hid behind the wall again. Resting his head onto the brick wall he couldn't believe his eyes, after all this time...
Yoongi eventually built up enough courage to walk over to the closed door, he tucked the envelope into the top of his bag and zipped it closed. One inhale and one exhale later he found his fist knocking against the door. The locks on the other side of the door clunked and rattled as he could imagine the latter struggling to open it; after a while the door was finally cracked open and Yoongi bit his lip nervously.
Jimin stood there in his pyjamas with a half-undressed Jungkook on his hip, "Yoon-?"
Cutting him off Yoongi wrapped his arms around the younger and held him close, he couldn't believe that Jimin was the broken boy he'd listened to for so many months but at the same time it all made so much sense, for all the times he'd come into the studio and stared vacantly at things whilst becoming effectively mute, or days like yesterday.
