Chapter Eighteen| (Part 1)
Her eyes were piercing into mine, her eyes glossy from the tears that were about to spill.
Her hand slowly came up to her mouth, covering it completely. She shook her head repeatedly.
"No, no, no, no. You LIAR!"

48 hours earlier...
"Damn Reyna! Looking good!" Brandon whistled causing me to chuckle.
I dropped my face to the ground to cover my crimson cheeks, "Stop it! People are looking." I actually didn't know if people were really looking but they could have and I would've been really uncomfortable.
"Ready for the trip?" He asked me, nudging me in the arm.
I faked a smile. "Yup." I lied. Truth was, I wasn't. No way in hell was I ready for Ainsley to actually meet her mother. I was extremely anxious for her, who knows how her mother could react? Ainsley already had a good life. She had everything already, her mother could destroy it all.
I wouldn't watch that happen.
"You're not." Brandon simply stated, ripping me away from my thoughts.
"What?"
"You don't seem the bit least excited for the trip. Is it Ainsley?" He asked me and I was just about to freak out until I remembered that he knew. I didn't understand how but Brandon figured it out and he knew about the stupid plan that could explode in my face if I didn't get rid of it.
I sighed, not even bothering to lie. I hated it so much but I kept doing it. I understood why people did it so much now.
I nodded. "It's not about the plan though," He raised a brow, waiting for me to continue. "Has to do with her mother."
"Her Mother? Who is she?"
"Alison Hayes. She changed her last name shortly after her and Ainsley's Dad split up." I explained to her.
His eyes widened at my response, seeming somewhat surprised at my answer. "She's the CEO of Treasure Enterprises which is in...London!" He gasped, a hand dramatically hitting his chest. "That's why Ainsley wants to go! She's gonna see her mother isn't she?"
I sighed, nodding slowly. "I don't think it's a good idea. I don't even think, I know it's not a good idea. It's a horrible one!"
"But why? It's her Mother."
"Her Mother abandoned her and her husband to follow her father's path for her. She left Ainsley. It wasn't long ago that she left, it was around 6th grade. Though Ainsley claims that she never met her–"
"Wait!" He cut me off. "What do you mean she claims she never met her?"
I shrugged. "Exactly what I said. She doesn't remember any memories with her."
"That's so weird. 6th grade wasn't that long ago. You know what? Forget her mother for a second, you need to find out what's going on with Ainsley." He told me which had me utterly confused then.
"What? Why?"
"She has nightmares in class, she's pretty slow when it comes to reading and writing but she's also freakishly smart, apparently in middle school she was a different person and now she doesn't remember her Mother? Something is up with her." He explained and I couldn't really comprehend it. Something was up with her? What could that be though?
Suddenly it hit me like a truck. My eyes widened at Brandon. "Every time I mention her being mean to me, her bullying me and torturing me...she tells me that she doesn't remember any of it and she thinks that I'm playing."
