It never matters what the mouth says
It's always about the heart
The friend isn't the one who plays
He's the one who does it even if it's hard
He's a shoulder who can count on
He's a smile you can always see
He's the one who claps when everything's done
He's the one who treasures loyalty
He doesn't tell you he's your friend
But you feel it
That's what counts at the end
When lights of life are no more lit
You may claim many to be those people
But only few stand out
These are the friends
Who's names you can proudly shout loud
