The day you first came to school in wide rim black glasses you were the center of attention.

 Everyone wanted to know why you had them. Once it was out that it was just a fashion statement, people then wanted to know the life story of those geeky rims.

 The questions varied from “where did you get them? How much were they? If I got them could we be, like, glasses twins?” Of course those were all asked by the girls. After the word fashion all the guys disappeared to anywhere that wasn't around you.

 For a simple accessory they sure got a lot of attention. I certainly noticed them.

 I saw the way they made your eyes seem bigger, and your face smaller. I noticed how some of your milk chocolate colored bangs would fall underneath them. I found how some of your hair would rest along the top of those black spectacles. Underneath them your eyes seemed brighter yet hidden. The black made your pale skin fade into the air more than usual.

 Long story short, you looked cute in dorky glasses.
