I've adjusted the ray and it is now ready to be tested. But, before I could do that, I needed to do something with the subjects.
I brought in 2-p to my examination room. I strapped on his bonds and proceeded to do the necessary arrangements. 2-p, as usual, started to ask me questions. "What are you going to do with me?" he asked. I replied, "I'm going to make sure that you never try to escape." "Why would you do that?" I rolled up my arm sleeve to expose a fresh scar. 2-p gasped, "H-How did you get that?" "3-k." I said.
Earlier today, 3-k tried to run away from me while I was examining her eye. Se got hold of a scalpel and successfully gave me a scar that will heal in three days.
"She...she would never hurt anyone. Why did she do that? I thought she was happy with me and brother." "she was running to your cell 2-p." He remained quiet. As I was about to start, he asked, "How are you going to make sure we don't run away?"
I turned to him and showed him a small, square metal plate with the engravings, "W.I.N///2-P"
"These plates are connected to the sensors on the doors here. If any of you walk out or in a room that I'm not in, I will be indicated and you will be punished respectably." 2-p starred at the metal plate. "T-There are holes on it. Where are you going to put the metal plates?" I took his hand and places the plate on top it. "Good question." I grabbed a power tool and turned it on, "Why don't you try to figure out."
