Heavy is the heart that does not let go, heavy is the heart that always gives.

A black cat made its way across the floor, a still figure laid there asleep. The cat nudged the figure gently, Anais stirred and looked upon the cat, "How long have I been out?" she mumbled to the cat as if it were to answer her back. The cat only mewed and leapt back onto the window sill, it gave the girl one last look before leaving. Anais was all alone, with her thoughts and memories, she sat up and dusted herself off. It was early in the evening, the sun was setting, Anais felt no change at all after replacing the stone heart. It was still the same, empty and emotionless and full of darkness, she thought about little Chris. This thought caused her heart to throb and tears to pour out of her eyes, there was no sound just tears...

Those with a stone heart may not know what a real heart feels like until the time comes...

She wiped her eyes and trudged along to her dresser. It was time to clean off all her sins and pain....

Anais stood beside the tub, steam rose up from the crystal clear water, she ruffled her hair so that her bangs would cover up her eyes. Why her? She slowly dipped her toe into the water, it stung, afterwards she then plunged her whole foot in alone with the rest of her. It hurt, it stung, it burned but yet she felt like she deserved it. Her skin was screaming in pain as the water grew mirky, she bit her lip to hold in her cries of pain, caked dirt and blood flowed from limbs and into the water. Her sins were melting off of her...
