The yellow-dwarf star already reached its peak above the skies, along with the two married couple that risen up from their shared bed, who are yearning to start the ever-lasting morning routine.

Mister Blanchard had drew the curtains to let the sunshine in, while his wife loaded the kitchen table with numerous palatable meals, a jug of orange juice, and three cups of white-creamed coffee. The silver utensils are also polished asepticly, and underneath is a chiffon table cloth that matches the cleanliness of their luxurious, opulent home.

Their neighbors were still slumbering, which is the only time that they aren't whispering at each other's ears about three, successful individuals who achieved greater numbers than they ever did.

The father who is included in one of the most wealthiest entrepreneurs, a mother who became a culinary chef at age forteen, and a loving daughter who earned a gold medal for fine art. They were, no doubt, a perfect family.

All of this disintegrated when Mrs. Blanchard opened the door of her daughter's chambers, seeing her lifeless body on the cushion, with blood endlessly dripping down the plushed, lavender carpet.

"Jean!"

"Hey, dad," Kyle sank himself on the sofa, his father watching a news about the most-hyped boxing fight in the modern times, whereas a filipino and a black american grabbed at each other for thirty-six minutes to win a belt.

"I need your advice, " he started as millions of questions filled up his mind, though there was only one in particular that he wanted to have an answer to.

"What can you do to be friends with someone who is not easy to approach?" Kyle asked, his father stared at him with a confused, puzzled expression.

"Well, son, if I were you, I'd try to impress that person. Make them see I'm worth something." Bryan's enthusiastic answer actually helped Kyle to clear out his deep thoughts, and he became more eager in proving himself to Alex that he's very resourceful than what he appears to be.

At the same time, Ben was trying to find the two people whom Jean drew on a piece of paper, as if it was a trophy of appreciation for her saviors.

The drawing was very detailed, as a matter of fact, it certainly matched those dark lines below Alex's eyes and Kyle's straight, bushy brows. He knew that one of them may be a revival, it can be the blonde-haired boy, even though he seems harmless enough, or the young, asian black-haired girl who seemingly doesn't get enough sleep.

Ben didn't want to consult his superior, as he needs to be very sure of Billy's whereabouts, until then his goal is to obtain these two for information, and, of course entertainment.

He was planning on killing either one of them afterwards.

The man with a plan moved his location uptown in Bleeker Street, where several landmarks and notable places rests on each sidewalk, along with a legion of tourists who are eager to snap a photo for them to share it for their loved ones living in a country a few, thousand kilometers away from the spot they are standing on.

He scoured every inch of the area just like he did from the previous streets, and it became tiresome as he would have never hoped for. Alone, and thirsty, he made his way to a local coffee shop, and filled his dehydrated body as he sat on a parson chair outside the establishment, relaxing.

But then at the moment of vulnerability, his leisure stopped when two teenagers were seen across the street, two of whom he marked from the very beginning, and the very reason why he was out in the open.

It was oblivious that the black-haired girl was annoyed by the tail behind her back, a boy who seemingly tries to get her attention by talking endlessly.

Though he wasn't the only one who was tailing her.

Ben kept his distance between them, and walked like a harmless civilian in the overwhelming crowd, using this as an advantage to be not suspicious, or even being noticed.

The moon was already in the sky, and stars filled the void of the darkness above. The air was freezing, and the temperature was even more below when he followed them to the famous Rochester Subway, where not a single soul can be spotted during the night.

He wasn't aware that Alex outsmarted him, and she knew from the start that someone or something dangerous was following both her and Kyle.

"Come out, asshole. I know you're there."

She said as the loudness of her voice echoed on the walls.

"Why are you following us?" Alex started as she crossed her arms and stood lazily.

The man walked outside the shadows and revealed his face. Surprisingly, both Alex and Kyle doesn't know who he was.

Ben took out a piece of paper, unfolded it, and pointed it towards them.

"Is that supposed to mean anything?" She scoffed, while Kyle scanned the paper carefully, and it was undeniably a detailed drawing of his and Alex's face beside each other.

"I guess so. I mean, after all it was made by the girl you saved a few nights ago." Ben replied with a smirk, which made Kyle clench his fists and was ready to blow a punch.

"What the hell did you do to her?" Kyle spoke, bringing his foot forward with his hands heated and hardened.

Before he could begin a quarrel with the man, Alex already gave Ben an uppercut on the jaw and a kick on his over-layared belly.

"Heh, you're a tough one." He replied using his words, as he spat blood and saliva on the cemented ground.

"Talking isn't my strongest suit." Alex waited for him to get up, hoping he can pick a fight and win it, because after seconds of looking at him in the eye, she knew that he was as murderous as her.

Ben tried using his bare hands to hit her, but this adolescent girl manages to dodge every punch he threw at her, as if it was a walk in a park. His breath was beginning to get heavy, and some parts of his body were getting a cramp.

Alex took the last act, as she finally countered him with a fist on the left cheek, dislocating his jaw entirely.

Back on the ground, Kyle thought it was over, but it wasn't.

She unexpectedly pulled a gun behind her back in a matter of seconds, and placed a bullet between Ben's eyes.

With mouth agaped, Kyle froze while his eyes widened of shock.

How could she do that? Why?

Alex didn't even hesitated, or flinched, and that was the scary part. Kyle, now realizing who Alex is, was terrified.

He ran as fast as he can out of the abandoned subway, then Alex departed at a different path opposite from what he took.

Little did they know, that a man with a fedora hat was watching them from afar.
