The Description clearly introduces the main character and give reader taste of what their personality is like. Sets a slightly mysterious mood by giving reader a sneak peak of the plot however leaves enough unsaid to make the reader want to read on.
● Chapter 1: 8/10
In this chapter there is some informative details about the main character (Theo) which helps to understand him as a character better. There is also magic related language used which gives the readers a hint as to what the story is going to be like in future chapters. However the Chapter could be improved with more detailed descriptive language to give the reader a clearer image of the scene unfolding in the Chapter. The fact that the Chapter doesn't have much descriptive language makes the chapter sound slightly monotone and there are some minor spelling and grammar mistakes. In spite of this, which a bit of editing, this chapter could be very successful.
● Chapter 2: 8/10
There is quite a bit of background information in this chapter which the reader's can use to help them understand the relationship between the characters involved. In this chapter it also shows the readers Theo's emotions and opinions which makes him more easy to understand and empathise with.
● Overall opinion and rating out of 10: 8/10
I found personally that the story was a bit bare with there not being much description however that could be easily changed and turned around. The writer has made some interesting character's which will help the story to in return also be interesting. In conclusion with a little editing this story could bloom amazingly.
